It's sad that the bmw m1 was rarely seen in the games of this series. And then only the racing version(Procar). This is also a legendary car. After all, it was thanks to it that the m-series appeared. Including m3 of course.
BMW M3 3.0 CSL and M3 GT2 would be cool to see back. There could be the regular BMW CS and it could be customized with the CSL Racing Kit, that'd be freaken cool.
Among all of NFS games, Shift and Shift 2 are definitely the ones which are able to replicate BMW M3 GTR's habitat just by concept alone. While, yes, NFS Most Wanted made M3 GTR popular, M3 GTR is still a proper racing car first and foremost and Shift series meets that purpose. Also, it's said that Shift and Shift 2's developer team is also the one which developed the widely acclaimed GTR2.
Forgot the Z3 M roadster and the Clownshoe official addons in High Stakes also the Nazca C2 in NFS2 was intended to be a succesor to the M1 but BMW scrapped the idea
The E92 in Pro Street had no grip at all. That's why Ray Kreiger is so easy to beat, also driving in this car in that game feels so sliding in grip events. Sliding, or rather I should say understeering. The car is great for drags, and speed challenge events imo.
You could say how the Nate's 1965 Pontiac GTO was almost undrivable and you need a steering wheel for that. That's no wonder why it should be called "The totaled king." Also even Rudy Chen with this 911 GT2 was a better alternative for king.
You need to get an emulator and play the PS2 version of Hot Pursuit 2, it’s vastly superior in every possible way. (This is coming from someone who has played both the PS2 and PC versions)
@@fpsplayer66The PC and PS2 versions of Hot Pursuit 2 were developed by different studios. EA Black Box (yes, that Black Box) developed the PS2 version, while the PC version was developed by EA Seattle. The PS2 version was so good that it ultimately led to Black Box being given full creative control of the Need for Speed series up until Undercover. In other words, the PS2 version of Hot Pursuit 2 was THAT good compared to the PC version because it was superior in every way including the handling model and the environments thanks to the people who would later soon develop the Underground games and Most Wanted '05. This is best understood if you compare the PC and PS2 versions side by side.
