    Just bought a 2019 R. Had an 08 675 and desperately wanted the 765 and all the technology. No regrets!

    Just a little taste of what this bike is all about Mr Hedgehog. I'm sure you can imagine what the Streety can do out on the twisty roads. I got mine new in 2009 & been riding it all over SW France since. Such a good balance of power & nimbleness on mountain passes.

      Oh I could tell this is the one and only bike you need if your looking to have a single bike household. It felt great in the city and you could tell it was ready for long hauls and canyon carving. I swear my next bike will be a naked standard like this.

    Hey ! Yeah, as soon as the weather improves I lan on test riding a Triumph Street Triple R myself. Contemplating (depending on a test ride) purchasing one for myself. I currently own a 2015 HD Super Low 1200T and a 2016 Motto Guzzi V7II. Looking for a Sport/Street Bike to add to my stable. Everything I've read or seen on You Tube so far has been positive concerning the Triumph Street Triple. just saying ;-)

    I really wish I had gotten to try this again after the tires were pumped up. I probably would have enjoyed this bike a lot more than I did.

      You'll get another crack at one. Maybe if they dial in that rear break a bit better as well. I missed how bad it really was due to how good the front really was until the end of the ride.

    I test rode one of these yesterday, those mirrors are simply unacceptable if you're over 5'8"! Other than that, I loved it and will own it soon

    Guys please advice. I'm selling my fz8 and thinking about street triple. Is it a good way? Is it comfy for a longer distance too? Thanks

    • @RabidHedgehog
      @RabidHedgehog  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Street Triple would make a good bike to leave town and hit the twisties as well for an extended period. Very similar riding posture as the FZ8, and a very well rounded bike as well that will not beat you up with suspension and such.

      Thanks dude. I guess i will go for it. But i have worries. Don't have experience with Triumph...or shouldn't i?

      Martin Dudik I'm getting ready to trade my 2012 street triple in on a 2017 street triple r model. I had no problems with my"12 at all! Not the most comfortable bike out there but it's so much fun you won't even notice, haha.

    Hey bud. Do you prefer straight up sportbikes or crotch rocket (lean forward) ones?

    • @RabidHedgehog
      @RabidHedgehog  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I prefer the sport standards for real vs. the R6s, 636s. and CBRs of the world.

      That's cool man. Any chance of riding a triumph Bonnie in your area? I'd love to know your opinion on it!

    R version, not your standard Street Tripple. Upgraded brakes and suspension.

    • @RabidHedgehog
      @RabidHedgehog  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is correct. I only put in the standard price in description as some people start from that point and move up from there. This is a bike I want though.

    I've heard complaints the Standard's suspension is too hard for street riding; potholes and rough pavement rattle your teeth, especially if you're over 200#. Comments?

    Would you suggest this bike for as a first bike?

    • @RabidHedgehog
      @RabidHedgehog  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Austin Sosna I would say it is well enough behaved to be a first bike. It is not a crazy wheelie monster like some in its class, although it can be if treated as such. But it really is a nice ride to have.

    why, oh why oh why won't triumph drop that horrible twin spare bits, headlight configuration.
    My son considered buying a new Street triple as one of his choices, guess what put him off the Triumph.... i've heard that so many times.....

      I do like the original round style these came with better, but I still for some reason like the kind of buggy look it has. Maybe because it is unique. To me at least it is still symmetrical unlike the BMW lights which, with the exception of the models with single round, all look ridiculous.
