I'm a sucker for The Room style mechanical puzzle box games (there's something about the way that the mechanisms unlock that's very satisfying). Boxes is a little easier than The Room games, but it's got a LOT of boxes to figure out, each one taking around 5-10 minutes to play through. Each box has a different theme and there are some fun little games hidden within them (you even play a little bit of Red Light, Green Light at one point!) I missed one of the story cards just before the end, but this is what it says: (Spoilers) "Within this containment device resides a power beyond reckoning, a force that can alter the fabric of existence itself. To open it is to disturb the equilibrium of our world, and to bear the responsibility for the untold consequences that may follow".
I am an avid enjoyer of the Room series. Own and have beaten every one of their games at least twice now. I gots to get me some more. Hell if I don’t find where this is soon.

I've not heard the world "kinaesthetically" before, but it's a perfect descriptor for what I find pleasing about the game. Thanks for adding a new word to my vocabulary! :)
@@AlphaBetaGamer thanks, I love it too) Not my invention, though. Campster from Errant Signal used it in one of his videos many years ago. It means "what you feel when interracting with core mechanics of the game".
Kinaesthtics are related to the position and operation of parts of your body. E.g. your “kinaesthetic sense” is your ability to tell what position your limbs are in without looking at them. So things operating and clicking in a pleasing way would certainly be kinaesthetic if you were actually physically doing it. In a digital format I’m not quite sure but let’s say close enough 😅.
Oh. My. Goodness! Am I in heaven? Out of all the puzzle-solving games I've seen, THIS takes the whole cake! I have a knick-knack for solving puzzles, even though it's..."puzzling". Just looking at this game really gives me the edge of solving the game as well! Hell, just watching even satisfied me already! Of this, I APPROVE. 👍😎
One could say this game is a bit puzzling 🤔. Well at least they thought outside the box on this one 😏. Seriously though I'm loving the concept of this game so much. Once again I thank you for bringing yet another hidden Gem to my attention.
So these guys also made another puzzle game called Doors: Paradox in 2022, and it looks just as good as this! It shows how much progress has been made! Beautiful!
Hey now, Myst has an odd and COOL plot, I kinda love it (although I'm playing them for the first time and Riven is already getting WAY more sharp with the story)!
The plot of this game: "Please don't awaken the Abominable Intelligence I created. She exists across dimensions and thinks she is God. Also, she is powered by dark matter and might as well actually be god. ANYWAY, she is PISSED OFF and dangerous." The player: "Oooooh. Shiny boxes"
He got trapped with said shiny boxes so I wouldn't put the blame on him (although he did read the notes so he knew what he was doing ig) Edit: Apparently Aurora sent the letter that bought the guy here. We've been tricked and bamboozled in every way.
im very impressed on the details and mechanics, its really well thought out on each piece of puzzle, on how things work and function, very interesting and entertaining
I like watching people play thru puzzle games I have done to see the differences in skill and approach. Like I did things in a different order in some rooms. There was one puzzle that took me forever to finish that was done in like 4 or 5 moves here. Also I had to brute force one of the puzzles because I didn't find the hint for it. 😅
I dont know why, but i just imagine nezu from mha doing this. Like he has a super smart arch nemisis who acts like the riddler without the ego. He set several bombs throughout the city that will go off if he doesn't win in two hours.
The ones in the clock box 13:00 are proper. Those two symmetrical symbols are either invented or from something else. They don't turn up in a cursory search of alchemy symbols but there are a lot.
I never knew how much I need this type of game before lol, just seems like an obviously great idea for a game considering how much views do those mechanical puzzle channels get
Oh hey just from the first look I thought "This looks very much like the Doors:Paradox game" and went to check it - it's from the same developer. That game was fun and creative so I'll definitely check this one out, puzzle games scratch that itch no other game can.

I had a completely different ending, where the robot immediately takes over the world. Did they change it at some point?
Just watching you solving these puzzles in these different themed boxes are so fun to watch. And the sound they made... oh they're so fun to listen.
