SPOILER It really is a testament to how expertly crafted this game is that Sabrina (the AI) seems so suspicious when in reality she didn't actually do anything and just suffered from grief and isolation...makes the distrustful answers one naturally gravitates towards over the course of the game even sadder in retrospect.
The story of the game goes along the lines of: - Accident in the lab occurs, the husband is dying. A.I did not kill the Husband. - The wife is in emotional distress and forces A.I to open the doors despite what the Husband and A.I wanted. This action ends up killing both Husband and Wife in the lab accident while breaking the A.I mentally. - Rumu is the third and final version of the A.I because the Husband and Wife wanted the A.I to only be happy but their untimely death left Rumu incomplete leaving the A.I to finish their work.
Now that you know what really went down back then... Considering the trouble, the pain and the loneliness SABRINA had to go through to power up Rumu for just one day of company a year you should replay it and this time be nice to her from the beginning
I don't think SABRINA killed them on purpose. I think David messed up in the laboratory, and she blames herself for letting Cecily in when Cecily pulled the "if you love me" card. Thus the "failure in the SABRINA AI" thing MESSR says. SABRINA, then sad and alone, keeps Rumu around to fight her essentially AI-based guilt and depression. The thing is, David and Cecily created a person by giving their AI human emotions. Not a human, an intelligent *person*, and just like a person, it wasn't perfect and didn't always function at optimal capacity. People don't make good machines. And by trying to "fix" her to perform perfectly...well that's going to be about as successful and welcomed by the subject as when you try that on any human. As Cecily said, they should've tried to talk to her to understand the source of her unhappiness, as she was now a sentient being and not just a machine. SABRINA basically needed therapy lol. It also relates to how they couldn't connect with their daughter, Sabrina- they didn't understand her human needs and emotions, instead preferring logic and computing rationality. David and Cecily truly created something beautiful in Sabrina, Rumu and Cecily, despite themselves- in human and artificial form.
Hahaha, watching you append malicious intent to Sabrina, even at the end there, was a little frustrating. She was lonely and coping badly with an emotional decision made. She didn't cause the accident, but blamed herself because David wouldn't let her monitor, but she felt she should be there. So when he fucked up, and her mother basically told her that, if she loved her she'd open the door.. Maaaaaan.
This was one of the best games I've ever watched being played, I kinda resonate with you as Sabrina AI acted really suspiciously, especially when she raised her voice, but upon looking into it, I really do feel sorry for her, there was so much chance to console her and not question her every word. But truly, this game is so heartfelt and gave me so many complex emotions throughout 🥺 Needed more Ava tho, that one scene when she was on top of rumu, adorable!
What an amazing experience. This is a great example of the unique art that video games can be and how they can tell a story unlike any other medium. This is what you get when AAA effort is put into an Indi game. Bravo to the incredible talent and vision of the developers!
.... watching Kravin play this, now knowing what he's going through.... it pains me, as I am going through the same. And seeing him cry kinda gives this all a new meaning. I'll gift it to the man I love. As he may not love me in the future...
This was great for a one-sitting playthrough. If you had broken it up into parts, I don't think it would have had as much of an impact as hearing/seeing this story all at once. Beautiful. Thank you for this upload.
Mannnnn David and Cecily just suuuuuck. I feel bad for the real Sabrina. I knew SABRINA AI was innocent. Everything she was saying and all the notes Kravin found on her, it just sounded like a desperate cry for help. Good thing she has lil’ Rumu~
I just couldn't stop crying near the ending of this game. This really reminds me of the Spielberg movie Artificial Intelligence. Awesome gameplay, thank you, Mrkravin!
It was frustrating to watch how mean you were to Sabrina, even when it became clear she didn't do anything wrong you never admitted it. Other than that, enjoyed the gameplay, I kinda wish you'd play it once more but this time actually being nice :P
Your smile at the end of the game is so heartfelt and warm and beautiful. I really appreciate how you share your feelings so candidly with your audience 🤗
I thought someone in the comments recommended that Kravin replay this knowing the ending. I can't find that comment but I did got and buy and play this game. I stopped the video just before the 2 hour mark but still knew spoilers from the comments. It's a whole other vibe when you play knowing Sabrina. Fantastic game. Would recommend.
Man. I am a man so I don't cry my eyes just burn lol. But they were on FIRE seeing how big of a heart you have. First game stream video i watched in completion
electric sheep is a phillip k dick novel that blade runner was based off of, I, Robot was very loosely based off of the collection of short fiction by the same name written by isaac asimov
Regarding the ending...does she know what happened? I saw a play through a long time ago and had that same question. Did she actually know what was going on or was Sabrina about to be devastated? Such a heartbreaking but great game.
As soon as it mentioned that David was distracted my immediate thought was "Sabrina killed them" Let's see if I'm right. Edit: Not done yet but its infuriating how he hasnt seen the "Shift to enter data vision" yet
SPOILER. ...I feel bad for Sabrina now ... Like, she knew that she was going to be reset \ destroyed . She didn't want that for Rumu, to feel that agony and lonliness.
I really love you and your channels, but when GIANT LETTERS APPEARS to press "shift" god give me a patience to wait when you see them. Omg its so hard to see that you look what you need to press
1:13:52 actually, Blade Runner was based on "Do robots dream of electric sheep" - "I, robot" was an original work. They're not even from the same writer... "Do robots" etc. was by Philip K. Dick, while "I, Robot" was by Isaac Asimov.

I blame "Terminator" and "A Space Odyssey".
Sabrina: "Oh yea? And how much do you expect to see from an inch off the floor?"
MrKravin: *Visibly shook*

I feel bad for the Sabrina AI. Feels like this story is all about emotional distance and how it can affect people differently.

You..... are someone to easily fall in love with lmao.
Very well crafted comment. Glad you enjoyed the play through. I did as well.

Maaaaaan.
I have never wanted to cry and hug a little robot more than right now. Uh my heart, man. Talk about a compelling video game.
Love is stored in the rumu

Poor SABRINA Kravin bashes her so bad.

Ray Dopson So glad this wasn’t chopped up. It lets your emotions follow the game unhindered!
soon as rumu made the heart eyes at the end i cried actual tears i’m not crying your crying !
this game almost reminds me of what happened to edith finch, with the in-depth story-telling and emotional TRAUMA

Perfection. A diamond in the rough.
Wow, poor Sabrina. And I feel like kravin will always distrust her.
.... watching Kravin play this, now knowing what he's going through.... it pains me, as I am going through the same. And seeing him cry kinda gives this all a new meaning.
I'll gift it to the man I love. As he may not love me in the future...
I squee with joy whenever you get to tell things you love them ;-; I almost cry from the sheer cuteness
I truly love this play. And I also got goosebumps and teared up :(
Probably one of my favorite videos you’ve done
The cat is actually named after a wonderful woman who was the first person to code!
Mrkravin as tough as he is
Will cry because of a robot
But wont cry for shiz
God it’s been awhile since I’ve watched a game this deep.... soooo good. 🤩
This was great for a one-sitting playthrough. If you had broken it up into parts, I don't think it would have had as much of an impact as hearing/seeing this story all at once. Beautiful. Thank you for this upload.
Sabrina is a beautiful and heartbreaking character and she made me cry a lot.
Mannnnn David and Cecily just suuuuuck. I feel bad for the real Sabrina. I knew SABRINA AI was innocent. Everything she was saying and all the notes Kravin found on her, it just sounded like a desperate cry for help. Good thing she has lil’ Rumu~

Oh man, this made me cry a little. What a great game and great vid!
wish there were more awesome games like this on the market! thanks for the wonderful content you play on your channel ...
It was frustrating to watch how mean you were to Sabrina, even when it became clear she didn't do anything wrong you never admitted it. Other than that, enjoyed the gameplay, I kinda wish you'd play it once more but this time actually being nice :P
That was so much better than a story about a sentient vacuum cleaner had any right to be. Actually got me emotional at the end.
Your smile at the end of the game is so heartfelt and warm and beautiful. I really appreciate how you share your feelings so candidly with your audience 🤗
thanks for posting! was wanting to watch this play through, you did great!
That was such a good experience like wow.. watching this game was like watching a whole movie
That was a great game. Thanks for an amazing playthrough. Love your commentary.
Didn’t you play a demo of this game or something similar. Either way, this is cute and awesome!
I love stories like these. The Suicide of Rachel foster was added to my "Favorite Videos" List and now I'll proudly be adding Rumu to it as well.

I think the red stain in day 2 was pasta sauce lol.
This is way up there for favorite game I've watched. I only wish we could see a little beyond the end
wow this game hits a lot different when you already know the life update
my name is sabrina and its weird because i respond to sabrina
but its the game talking to their sabrina and not me, sabrina
I cried at the end so hard ! This game is beautiful ! Also i'm glad that nothing happened to Ada
I love... Rumu.
So I had to check, and looking up the episode of TNG mentioned is an episode about a small robot possibly becoming sentient.
This feels like a good and bad ending with the way you ended it with the AI.
That's a cute boy😛 lil' vacuum cleaner dog! Subarashī gēmu!! I like to think that they used 'Text To Speech' for the voices.
I'm sitting here watching this on March 8, 2024... as the March 9 date comes up... 😂
electric sheep is a phillip k dick novel that blade runner was based off of, I, Robot was very loosely based off of the collection of short fiction by the same name written by isaac asimov
Rumba is the cutest thing.
I don't trust Sabrina.
But oh my gooossshhh I want a cute lil robo!
Regarding the ending...does she know what happened? I saw a play through a long time ago and had that same question. Did she actually know what was going on or was Sabrina about to be devastated? Such a heartbreaking but great game.
That was the only thing I was unsure about, too!
Very cute, thanks for this
This was awesome
electric sheep was the base for blade runner
I love rumu
Oh man! I might have to become a patron
Omg I loooove this game 😻
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is great and what Blade Runner was based on. It's really good, very worth a read. ^^
Love games that make me cry 😍😍😍😍😍😍
It was an accident
RUMU

Blade Runner is the movie based off of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
Best TH-camr award mr kravin
As soon as it mentioned that David was distracted my immediate thought was "Sabrina killed them" Let's see if I'm right.
Edit: Not done yet but its infuriating how he hasnt seen the "Shift to enter data vision" yet
So does the game end the same way if you love and respect Sabrina?
I clicked on this video as fast as I could
SPOILER.
...I feel bad for Sabrina now ...
Like, she knew that she was going to be reset \ destroyed .
She didn't want that for Rumu, to feel that agony and lonliness.
You ain't do Kevin.
Oh hey, I know that voice! Isn't that Allegra Clark?
Do you think this game has a soundtrack available?

Noooooo, stop being mean to Sabrina :(
Dude, you completely missed the story here, Kravin.
