So I got the 4k screen but everything else you have is what I got and honestly with dlss, almost every game I have will play at or above 60 fps which is just incredible considering how thin the laptop is. I followed your liquid metal guide and it helped immensely with temps and the screen that the 4k version has is the nicest looking screen I've ever seen on a laptop with the Dolby vision. It's just unfortunate that it can't be absolutely amazing out of the box. But thank you for your content it's helped me get mine to where it is today.
@@humanoit7533 During Idle the temps are great 35-45c. But as soon as I put it under load it will immediately reach 100c and can't really hold past 3.8 GHz
Hello! I just ordered the X17 R2 with i7 and 3070ti. If I used liquid metal and Throttlestop as you did, do you think I can get similar results despite having i7 and 3070ti instead of i9 and 3080ti? I am debating switching the spec configuration on my order if there is a significant benefit with the 3080 ti. I would love to save the $650 if the 3070 ti is adequate, but I am willing to pay for the 3080 ti if you think it is necessary for 4K gaming, as I am already investing a lot of money and want to do this right.

Give a try to Nvidia Studio drivers, I used then too because of corporative workloads like proprietary scanner and some games really like it.

This laptop has only FHD 360 Hz. In other flagships u get QHD.
For screen recording with out using computer recourses use elgato external capture card it records UpTo 4k
