I made this for one of my best friends that moved 7 thousand miles from me, but I’m planning on making this for my cousin now, (she’s my best friend) she moved away a couple of years ago and now she lives far away from me but she’s coming tomorrow for a visit so I’m making this for her
This made me cry. Hard. I moved across the country in June and I haven’t talked to 99% of my friends. I was going to a new school (I finished the last year of that school idrk how to say it without revealing my age) and I had made about 50 friends, and 20 of those I grew up with. Many of my friends didn’t have phones, and I have 6 of their numbers. It kills me to see other people’s friends move/them move away from their friends. I don’t wish moving away on anybody, it made me have severe depression, and nothing was helping. One of my parents got laid off, one of my friends from that school committed suicide, and I didn’t know for weeks because I didn’t have her number. I moved across the country from some people I met that year and loved, and I moved away from people I had grown up with. Especially my friend Jaki. I had known her since 1st grade, and the people I grew up with, 2nd. I hope you and your friend are still talking to each other, and don’t loose each other. Be there for them, love them, just talk to them. Loosing a friend (especially 30+) is so hard. Your friend is so lucky to have you.🫶

I’m planning on making this for my friend bc she has been struggling a lot at home and has depression so yea but what did u out inside the envelopes?
I usually wrote out a letter for each different situation. Then I would put some fun things in the envelopes based on that. For example, for the birthday one, I put confetti, candy, candles, and stuff like that. For the sick one I put cough drops, tissues, and so on. If you want me to tell you what I did exactly for any individual one I’d be happy to;)
