Me too, I am putting a Dark Ale in the fridge now! 🍻 I just finished bottling an alcoholic ginger beer, which will finish up around 3.5%. This was highly requested over the past 3 years. But I have to say, I won't be drinking it anytime soon after having an allergy reaction to it after tasting it! 😆 🤣 😂 Cheers

Cheers another brew in the bottle . Do you use any metabisulfite to remove chlorine or chloramine from your water ? It could make the brew even better and remove any off flavors that may exist from those chemicals.
That is an excellent question, Mr Stoneyard. I have thought about doing ot, but for beginners, it might be too complicated! However, I have been considering it after watching your videos! You remain to be the best Brewer as I am concerned and I love your videos! Cheers 🍻
That should not be a problem, but you will need to stir the sugar in well what every type you choose to use. That ensures the ABV ends up the same for both the fermenters. The risk is that you might expose your open fermenter to a longer period of possible bacteria. Also, make sure everything is clean as transfer the brew. I hope this makes sense. Cheers
You can put the hydrometrer contents back in the brew, as long as your hydrometer was sanitised there is no risk of contamination. Also carbonation drops in bottle before you add the liquid, otherwise your bottle is too full.
That is a really good question, Bob, I personally would say 5 times, but I am not totally sure. We have a guys night at my place once a month, and I go through a lot of beer. So I have up to 7 batches stored most of the time to ensure it has matured and tastes good. So, rotating the bottles stored for the next batch is sometimes not consistent, and I mix my bottles up. In other words, some get used more than others. So's not to mislead you, I looked it up, and I found someone say no more than five, which was reassuring to discover. Cheers 🍻
Another good vid! You need some Beer drinking songs to go with this🍺😆

Can I mix all the ingredients of the 5 gallon Pilsner refill on 20 liters bucket and then split them on two 10 liters fermenters?

Hi mate I heard you say you change the lids out a fair bit after how many brews would you change them ?
