My heart stopped during my first transfusion. I fell asleep and woke up to a nurse telling me what happened. Found out i had a hrart issue and was given a few months to live. That was in 2012. I am no longer anemic and heart is like an athlete. Praise Yah

Compared to how many people have transfusions that a minimal amount getting HIV/Aids and it doesn't specify if those numbers are coming from developed countries.

But I'm not sure what medical professionals willingness to accommodate their patients has to do with this.
