lol same. my gf found these dudes on auto playlist for new order when we first started dating.
This song means so much to me, after getting through a one sided break up, in which I never gained any closure for. She moved on almost instantly and I was left in the mud. I wasn't cruel to her, I didn't everything I could and she still decided to leave me. As the song suggests, I've begun to realize that she wasn't good for me and that I'm better off with out her. Sometimes it doesn't seem that way but I know it to be true. She'll always be there in my heart, my first serious relationship, but I'll also remember what she did. And while I don't know if I can move on, I can at least push it aside and get better.

I listened to this song everyday while I was recovering from Opiate addiction. I would cry and dance at the same time. “And the days go by, and I never needed you”. The words to this song got me through some of my darkest days.

@@Human1136 I was a few years older working 3 jobs trying to figure out what major to choose, doing questionable things for my health thinking the exact same thing. As cliche as it sounds, things do get better. Marginally most days, but sometimes marginally is all you need.
The movie Dark Skies (2013) introduced me to this song. Ever since then I’ve absolutely loved this song and the band! 😄

this song means a lot to me. it was the first drums song that i came across and it got me into the band and portamento, which is easily one of my favorite albums of all time and this is also one of my most listened to songs ever. the lyrics hurt because they are relatable and there's a feeling of reminiscence and yearning and sadness that i always feel while listening to this song and it's a feeling that i felt throughout most of my life and it's a feeling that this band knows very well which is why i love them.
