Hey hi there, my chicken is about a month and half old which i had hatched using a incubator , now from the beginning they are not eating commercial feed that i bought for them they eat corn wheat rice because of that they are growing very slowly i don't know it's my chicken or the breed that dont eat commercial feeds then i look in my area that same breeds eating feeds can you suggest me foods that i should try to my chickens in my situation that could help
Hi! Honestly I would give them commercial feed. The other grains have very little nutrients so it’s like us only eating the same things. You can wet a bit of the commercial feed to make it more of a paste but I bet the chicken will eat that if it is all you give them. They won’t starve and it will help them to grow up healthy. ✌🏻❤️🐓
As a new ckn owner to a rescue hen and her one chick I found in a Denny's parking lot these vids help SOO MUCH! ❤❤❤❤🐓 THANKYOU!🥰
You are awesome to saving them and giving them a loving home! Here to help ✌🏻❤️🐓
Good info
Thank you very much for the tips/pointers!
Good to know what you do for yours! I had not heard about Bragg's acv - I wonder if homemade vinegar could be a replacement?!
Hey! I’m not sure. I’d look into it a bit more and make sure. ✌🏻❤️🐓
When you handle your chickens do you wear gloves or just bare hands? How about during a sickness or lice/mites?
Hi! You should wear gloves if you suspect mites or another issue though most poultry pests won’t bother humans. ✌🏻❤️🐓
