Awesome video! I love that you keep up with the aesthetics of the game! I think I'm actually going to use this as a source for an essay about video game sound design :D
thank you for the distraction today! I loved Obra Dinn when I played it with a friend back in college. We played on terrible speakers, and I would have never known the sound design was so good! Might have to give it another go just to experience it "in the flesh" as it were.
Zungi Sathi was a biggest pacing killer for my playthrough, because I for the love of me couldnt connect the shot heard with his death, and was just guessing wildly. I payed little to no attention to the audio back then, and I see that if I did, I could have had a more smooth experience
Tetramore, please stop. First Outer Wilds, now Obra Dinn; I can't watch a video on a story focused game until I've finished it, and these two have been on my wishlist for years now. Damn you! If you keep this up, I might actually have to play one of these games.
Oh, i get to share a thing i know! i played the first publicly released version of Return of the Obra Dinn, on Lucas Pope's website, in that version of the game the mast that crushed Abigale wasnt brought down by a Kracken its struck by lightning. this might have something to do with why the Kracken isn't heard in her scene
Obra Dinn is one of my favourite games of all time and deserves so much more recognition, thank you for covering it!

I love this! Such a great game, and audio was such a crucial and immersive piece to the whole experience!
Always dance to the confirmation lock in jingle
