- A very rough night spent in the North Pennine in North England in Dec 2021. As the weather forecast was excellent I ventured alone to kemp near Cross fell and got trapped in one of the worst snow storm I had camped in.

Great video man. Well done keeping a calm head in that weather and glad you fixed your zip, that could have been a real problem! It’s the most challenging of nights that are the most adventurous and memorable 👍

Evening Max. Great vid, really enjoyed it. I know I’ve said before but feel no harm in repeating, if at some point you fancy selling the ole P’mond could I please have first refusal?
Have to try to get up that way at some point. I’ve been desperately been wanting to do Ben Nevis at some point, haven’t yet as wanted a very good bivi as a back up to my Hilleberg Tarra or HMG Ultamid 2….which ever I took with me, in case it failed in bad weather. Well, I’ve finally got a beauty of a bivi. My family all chipped together and bought me a Carinthia Oberver for me. What a bivi!!! Vapor and gas permeable Goretex, which was made for Carinthia. In a it shell you can sleep with it zipped completely shut and won’t get any moisture and won’t suffocate or get a deadly build up of the gases. I can vouch it works.
If your even down this neck of the woods and fancy a trip to the Brecon Beacons give me a shout.

looks like a crazy night.... was ask if you had thought of building some sort of wall, and then you started doing it in the video, just as well you had the goggles and the shovel.

Ahah yeah snow wall feels like the right thing. Although when i arrived there was no snow 🤣 the tent ia Polarmond. Fantastic tent !! As you can see....
