This is a very rare track from the Japanese version of The Time Machine by Alan Parsons. If somebody of you have the Freudiana album, you may find some similarities aith the song Let Yourself Go. Beginnings has great guitars play by Ian Bairnson, and the voice you hear is the one of Alan Parsons himself
34 years later… this song(text) still come’s in deep… leading to a strong resonance…. It just feels just so true… It’s not just a ‘tale’ from Freud…. Read Erikson…. Bowlby….Ainsworth….Kernberg and so many other really big thinkers, researchers et cetera. For us adults it’s hard to remember…. But it is really the relation with really important people we remember non-declarative! The love of our mothers (and perhaps fathers) is heavenly (Erickson). Thank you MOM!
I think its safe to say im the biggest alan parsons fan of my age group (16-20) and HOW HAVE I NEVER HEARD THIS WHAT THIS IS SO GOOD I CANT STOP SINGING
It amazed me that so much good music was sent overseas. Lots of material for that matter and many different groups. Thank God for Ebay and the world wide web.
Remember everyone decades ago Alan Parsons engineered Floyd's Dark Side. More recently Gilmour played on Return to Tunguska from "Valid Path". Their sounds and mixing go together great and each has influenced the other.
I love the monologue in the background. Just a bunch of smart stuff about space, time, pre-time, pre-universe--all the kind of subjects that English rock stars of my youth tangled with. The Moody Blues and Pink Floyd did the same. I miss those lofty and heady times.
RIP ENRICO CONTINI. YOU MADE A GREAT NUMBER OF AWESOME VIDEOS THAT CONTINUE TO BE PLAYED TODAY (3/15/19). HOPE TO MEET YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE. THANKS AGAIN
People who think that shredding a guitar is the only way, need to listen to the precision & smooth tone that Ian Bairnson brings to this amazing piece of music.
Simplesmente in-crí-vel . . . !! Sou fã de Alan Parnons há mais de 40 anos e meus filhos também são . O netinho já chegou aí...A mamãe é cantora...Vamos ver, né ?!!
As someone not to inclined to be a religious believer, If there is something I love about Alan parsons all my life is how well he can talk about science and God in his music and make me love both point of views...
... and the universe is still expanding. I hope it doesn't get too cold. I also love those patterns that the galaxies make. All of them have that similar pattern. Coincidence? Hmmm. Any astrophysicist here that could satisfy my thirst for knowledge about the Universe? or perhaps any alien from Alpha Centauri?
All that we know as Space Time came forth from Singularity. Singularity is a region outside of Space Time as we know it; and which also exists within the “Fire Wall” (Event Horizon) of Black Holes. No forward linear timeline can be applied to regions of Singularity, however negative mathematical numbers can: (As in the multi-dimensions of String Therom.) It is only from within regions or “fields” of Singularity that particles such as Tachyons could posibly come into existance. - Dark Energy.
Too much "psychobabble", paraphrasing the great Parson's. Time, space and the interaction between them are nothing but Creation itself. Human mind will never succeed to understand what is way beyond the reach of our mind. What was first? Time or space? Very simple. Both and neither. Reality is the interaction of both, and " all that we see or seem, is but a dream within a dream". It is God's creation. So is Alan's music, as beautiful as a choir of angels!!!
The Kalam Cosmological Theory: 1. Everything that has a beginning has a cause 2. The Universe had a beginning 3. Therefore, the Universe had a cause. What caused the universe......? The more answers we have the harder the questions that result.
Elaine Powell not everything that has a begining had a cause some beginnings are just a continuation of what is constant. we are constant our being is comprised of what is constant. we are star stuff carl sagan. all matter is a variation of itself and will always exist.

Great tune. I don't buy the Aristotelian monologue in the background though. The universe must have a beginning and an end as you cannot have an infinite regress (or progression) of secondary causes. For matter to have come into being at a certain point it must have been created.
A.P.P. musica divina,indescrivibile,mitica...

I love looking at space

The greatest Guitar player ever is David Gilmour, music with emotional content, and bloody fool can pull a trigger. Enter the Dragon references
As much as I like David Gilmour, I'd say that the best guitarist is Andy Latimer. At least in my opinion...
This is to be played in my funeral.
Wow, I really like this version

Epic Guitar!! Ian Bairnson David Paton Bass Go Pilot!!!!
John Giblin played bass on this album, not David Paton.

Why isn't this available on the US release? It's great.
Songs for soul and natures
Assuming this was meant to be placed somewhere in the concept, where on the album would the song fit best?
for those that don't know it is Alan Parsons Project. ;)
Just so!

I'm totally agree. This sounds like Pink Floyd of David Gilmour. But it's amazing!!
gracias amigos@s
YES
Does anyone know the name of this song ? Thanks 🙏🏻
Why only on the japanese version?!!?!
❤
Thought that looked wrong. Ammonia Avenue.
That is the lead guitar that I have missed- the question now is who is going to find alien life first- them or us?
So where does it stop? It never does. There is more and more beyond our comprehension .
I still love you Alan if that is your real name
@candidsnow2 meno male..... grazie!

What if time is only a thing of man's mind and the universe has no beginning and no end- the physical representation of eternity?
The other side of darkness is..light!
