chamba to Bhaderwah via padhri Jot(Part-1)

One of the beatifull landscapes named Padri lies on upcoming Bhaderwah-Chamba National Highway at a distance of 41 Kms from Bhadarwah. The landscape runs in kilometers and is ideal for adventure sports like Snow-skiing in winters and Paragliding in summers. One feels extremely delighted reaching there. It is also highest Pass on Bhadarwah Chamba National Highway (The inter-state link). The visitor must carry woolens to enjoy the beauty of Padri even in summers.
In 1841, Bhadarwah became part of J&K state. When Maharaja Partap Singh was crowned as king of Jammu and Kashmir, he gifted Bhadarwah to his younger brother Raja Amar Singh as “Jagir”. The Jagir comprised Bhadarwah , Bhalessa and the vast area left of river Chenab from Thathri up to Khellani (Doda).

How long it take to reach Padri Pass from Chamba. I am planning a road trip from Dalhousie. Also, how is the road condition?

From chamba it will take 4-5 hours.. road condition is good .. and padhri jot is open. Atleast till nov …

Dharmshala se koti chamba 4:30 hours or yahan se bhaddarwah 4:30 hours .. gaadi koi bhi le aana chali jaegi
