I was thinking exactly the opposite. Who would wear these, and where? Not many. I do appreciate that the industry is FINALLY making clothing for normal people who are not tall and underweight.

Siriano was like one of the first designers to include and dress reality fuller figure women. I appreciate that he depicts this in his runway. The cream suit with black buttons my favorite neutral on this runway. The neon lime green looked good in all his version of designs, he put that bolt of material to work. The red carpet dresses are jaw dropping. When I first watch him in the design competition, I knew he was going to change the mental binding of inclusiveness for styling for larger figures. No he is not the first , the first designer to make plus sizes fashion is B Michael, his Ready to wear collection that he used to sell in Macys since 2013 was mainly for plus sizes women. Also most all his haute couture clientele is plus size many of the african american plus sizes actresses dress with him and he doesnt make his plus sizes in cheap spandex fabrics like Siriano does.
One can only appreciate that Cristian designs for all body types. Although as a normal middle class woman I would never have an opportunity to wear these styles, they are innovating and beautiful!
"There's nothing new under the sun", yet Christian is either refreshing, reviving and reinventing what's out there, while introducing HIS own unique interpretation of fashion and it's stunning, fascinating and interesting to watch.
Love, love, love!! Gorgeous designs, maybe not the most groundbreaking, but accessible! Christians inclusion of different body shapes is really what propels his shows into cutting edge. It makes them modern and of the now. Diversifying the types of models on the runway loses none of the glamour, none of the fantasy,; it’s as exciting and “inspirational” as fashion has always been. Well done!
The opening look with the asymmetrical jacket was the BOMB!!! That jacket needs to be everywhere. The diagonal black and white dress with the trailing black scarf was so classic and so modern at the same time. I WANT MORE LIKE THIS. Great Job Christian!!

I think Christian Siriano is genius. I give him great credit for including larger women. Personally, I believe clothing fitted to women who are human mannequins display the clothing and the structure better. That's just me from a technical design perspective and not in any way meant as body shaming ---- the fabrics are terrific and some of the sheer designs were tastefully risqué! ✨👏✨👏✨👏✨👏

Siriano dresses women for Women. you can tell the models LOVE Wearing the Clothes. the Clothes Make them FeeL Beautiful, Strong, Powerful, Apex. look at the way they walk. you don't see that in many shows, but when the models LOVE the clothes, it makes for Superior Show.
Much of the music is different at the shows then what is played with videos. Its called Copyright laws. Without permission from the owner of the music and usually payment. Its not allowed to be used on TH-cam .

Some beautiful gowns and interesting designs (that coat!) with his usual impeccable fit and tailoring. Overall hit and miss with the styles as some them looked dated (maybe a nod to his PR days). Loved the use of models with various body types.
His best showing yet! He has a gift for designing for plus the plus-size body...not just making regular clothes in a bigger size.
