After serving several sentences this is the way forward.... I'm not saying they have it all down ...but locking men up like dogs never worked... A new way was needed.... And I just hope those who are in the system get all the best in terms of education and rehabilitation and housing and work opportunities...being released with no home or Jon prospect is just a ticket back in to the system... Until criminals are taught how to know and feel their connection and value to others, learn how to shift their realities with positive thought, and are taught exactly how to live within society, no true transformation will take place.
This jail is a good jail it gives prisoners the chance to reform and better themselves ?? my son has changed while being at this jail 😊 he's found a talent he didn't know he had thanks to the staff I I cannot fault the staff the jail in any way on my visits to see my son I have always felt a friendly comfortable atmosphere in this prison. I believe this jail set the mood for Change all said and done now is there any chance of my son getting parole😊😊😊😊😁😁😁

Same in scottish private jails. The places are like hotels and great free food. Its all about money. The guys who own these private jails can charge at least 5 grand a week to keep just 1 guy in there jail, so much is that a year if the jail holds 700 cons? Alot of dough?

What i dont know is if the state realise these people will have to go some where to be fed, and alot want to go to prison as they have no problems, they get 3 good meals a day and a bed with a roof over there head. Plus the best gym money can buy to work out and football parks with artificial grass and lots more! Plus it costs at least 3 thousand pounds a week to keep 1 person in jail. As in money to feed themselfs and a place to stay even if its temporary till they get a house! Theres so many grey areas that never get addressd or even looked at, like they need money to buy furniture and be able to decorate the house so its fit to live in. But for years and years people have been getting nothing? And who is going to stay of drink and drugs in a house with nothing in it except the walls and floor boards. And thats the luckier ones. Theres people that dont even get offerd a house while the dwp deliberatly make it impossible to even start to claim benefits by pulling out every lie and excuse they can. So whats left? And there not even out a week yet? Crime thats whats left becouse they cant get a job and if they did where would they live and get money from? Its pathetic that this still goes on and could be easily sorted and at least alot of people would do better. But it seems the system needs people like that to get sent back to jail as thousands and thousands of people would be out a job by the public sector if these people did get the help they need. See theres a huge difference by giving some one help, and theres giving some one the help he needs.

Thats the problem with our justice system these days...There isnt one!. Back in the day late 80s was prison, slop out,cockroaches big as rats,home made prison bread,pigeons,smell of shite and piss,weekly showers,weekly chapel, qtr ounces of tobacco (half cut in half),tv on dine out locked in a cabinet, and best of all the monthly paintbrush down when naked to kill all lice then put clothes back on, ffs not this fookin holiday r and r.

We have become very good at looking after the perpetrators of crime and giving little if any support to victims.
they dont care about the victims of crime their working for darkness
human suffering is food to them their not looking after inmates those places are zoos

thats a blast from the past. A and C wings, tiny hospital wing. I actually miss that place. I got some fond memories of good hidings in that jail. I got my nose broke their twice. the address just came flooding back to me. HMP/YOI Northallerton, 15A, East Road, DL6 1NP
its a fucking disgrace.
prison isn't a punishment anymore its turned into a luxury.
Rehabilitation works, look at Norway, they have some of the nicest prisons in the world and have some of the lowest crime rates in the world
