    Hey Christine, I've been binge watching all your videos for the past week because they are SO well made and you have an amazing personality! My favorite is the Tulum series but Bonaire is definitely really cool and interesting too. And yes, I finally did subscribe today lol. I love all the drone footage and also appreciate how you are so genuine when you talk to us. Your overall vibe, personality, your energy... from the hoop earrings to the very loud nails... you are 100% YOU and I LOVE that confidence! Thanks for making such REAL and honest videos.. I can see this channel thriving in the near future! If I could please make a request... could you make a trip to Costa Rica please? I could use some tips on things to do in the Nicoya Peninsula (west coast). I have a trip planned for Tamarindo area at the end of the year. Thanks for reading my comment til the end. Keep shining bright, beautiful! Xoxo 😘

      girrrrrl are you reading my hello kitty diary? costa rica is coming up soon and i have a flight into LIR so i can stay in tamarindo 👀 😆 the target date keeps moving but it's on my radar to go there so i can give a badass babe my drone (i gave away my drone.. it was kind of a unique giveaway... th-cam.com/video/vHdW4u3e_6E/w-d-xo.html) and WOW your message gives me warm fuzzies for real. THANK YOU! these kinds of messages are the reason i create!

    You say you love Bonaire and come there often, then you must know by now that Bonaire is a no-fly zone for drones!

    Great videos! I liked and subscribed mostly because of your drone footage, but really enjoy all of your content. Here's a question...we're going to Bonaire in April and I see it appears to be drone friendly. We're coming on a cruise so we are looking for a great snorkel spot where I can also fly my drone. Suggestions?

      Love to hear it! There is a video about where to snorkel on my channel (love snorkeling on this island). Drones.. that's another question. I do have a drone channel, but I'll up front say "I've been here on project with this country". 🤘🏽

    Fabulous job! We have had a home there for many years and wouldn't go anywhere else for investment. No hurricanes, safe, clean, shore diving capital of the world. Snorkeling as great as diving from shore. No boat needed! Fantastic food. Wonderful people.

      OOOO the jealousy!! That's amazing. I've been so wow'd by the people I met on the island that either moved or investment. Seems like the RIGHT place for it for sure!!

    What a great place i was there 3 years ago .its so amazing for snorkeling and diving .I also went over to klein bonaire which is a great island unfortunately I got stung by a lion fish of the reef .totally not the best thing to happen .but overall its a great place and look forward to returning in a couple more years for sure .thanks for sharing and reminding me of a great place how its missed

      whooooa! i’m so glad you know it and went to klein bonaire! and WHOA!! sorry to hear about the lion fish! how does one treat that?

      Hi thanks for your reply I was not given anything to be honest just told to rest and let the pain go lol. that doesn't happen quickly. To be honest my heart was racing and the pain was immense.. I had 3 days left of my holiday and when I returned home I did go to the doctors to get checked .she looked at me and said ive never dealt with a lion fish sting .lucky for me everything seem to settle its self down .it was a great time seeing the reef and just one of those things in life that happened.

    The leaving your car doors unlocked as a deterrent was the most surprising to me

    Hi Christine. How expensive is it to stay in Bonaire. With car or scooter rental. I love your travels btw

    • @ChristineLozada
      @ChristineLozada  ปีที่แล้ว

      stoked to hear it! lots more videos coming.. i'm currently on the island and am posting about it on my social channels (instagram / tik tok). car rental = varies widely. my dive buddy paid $1200 for 2 weeks for her truck. my other diving friend paid $370 for 2 weeks. HUGE difference. my scooter from macho cost me $110 with no insurance for 7 days!

  • @marygradishar7889
    @marygradishar7889 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Question: If you leave the truck unlocked, do you not need to carry and ID if you are driving around? Where did you keep your cash/cards/phone when diving? Thanks!

    • @ChristineLozada
      @ChristineLozada  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oooh that's a great question. I would hide things between the seats (to be honest).. a small thing ID and a credit card would either go between the seats or was in a zip lock baggie with the house key on my person annnnnnnnd enjoying the dive with me 😆

    I do want to visit Bonaire. It seems great and cute and not highly populated.

    • @ChristineLozada
      @ChristineLozada  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's actually a really great way to describe it!! I'm excited to go back soon!

    • @roberto48135

      It is not highly populated indeed..just 21000 people here wich is really relaxed and calm...but more and more poeple are discufering it.. in very little time the original island people of bonaire is been doubled by foreigners like myselff that came to life here

    How are you getting permission to fly the drone in Bonaire. It is illegal and I continue to get denied permission. Any tips on how to get the approval?

    Is this island as flat as it looks? I've been to Curacao, so how different is Bonnaire.

    • @ChristineLozada
      @ChristineLozada  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OOOOOO it's pretty flat! in the north (where there are almost no roads) there's a few more hills. near 1000 steps a bit of an incline.. but as a cyclist who's ridden in the marin headlands north of SF and in florida.. its closer to something like... florida. flat. like a pancake. without the syrup tho.
