I talked to the kart in front on me at the start and apologized for the bump and I guess he got into neutral when the flag dropped. We were quick but just couldn't catch the draft of the front pack. Enjoy!

I raced karts in Alaska (70's-80's) with a bunch of friends, in a hugh high school parking lot. I thought we were pretty fast with our single one-speed Macs. However, not nearly this fast. But still a lot of fun with some real nice guys. Great video. Thanks a bunch!

Whats the valve on the steering wheel ?? And will give you a call sometime...

That is a fuel return line to the tank and it’s set up with a valve so you can adjust fuel pressure to the carburetor, depending on if you want to run leaner or richer.

This was awesome! As a former state and national champion (in the 90s) I friggin love the way this guy drives. He was the fastest driver on that track (easily seen in that chicane) and would have run off with it given better equipment. Probably would still have won if he didn't get fucked on the start and by the backmarker at 12:00
