I raced karts in Alaska (70's-80's) with a bunch of friends, in a hugh high school parking lot. I thought we were pretty fast with our single one-speed Macs. However, not nearly this fast. But still a lot of fun with some real nice guys. Great video. Thanks a bunch!
good stuff mate... may i ask you how often do you change the piston on the engine becouse i think those straights really kill the engine and what speed do you reach at the end of the straight thanks👊
This was awesome! As a former state and national champion (in the 90s) I friggin love the way this guy drives. He was the fastest driver on that track (easily seen in that chicane) and would have run off with it given better equipment. Probably would still have won if he didn't get fucked on the start and by the backmarker at 12:00
That is a fuel return line to the tank and it’s set up with a valve so you can adjust fuel pressure to the carburetor, depending on if you want to run leaner or richer.
Would like to learn more do you have a email ?? I use to race Rupp Chaparral Karts there in the 70s...And my dad worked for Rupp.. Would like to find out more about Mid-Ohio My Grandson races at K1 Speed Electric Go-Kart Track and has a youtube channel too
I’m at work watching yelling and screaming at my PC. Tech at a dealership, so no one cares, but anyway that was some great driving. Next time I’m going to watch in person.

In the draft I hit 119mph during the weekend. Not bad for 125cc!!
@@alexwatzke288An off at those speeds would be .....ill advised.
Dude was throwing bananas 😂
Beautiful Video, looks like a perfect day for Racing...
This looks extremely fun. Awesome!

Piston every 3-4 hours. Around 118mph top speed.
Amazing how much time you make up entering the key hole.
Looks like a ton of fun.. I have a good amount of laps on an R1 there, but the carts look like a blast...
Definitely a great time in a kart!
This is higher stakes than open wheel... it's open body!!! Dive-bombed the 88, but it had to be done with the lead pack disappearing.
