Gosh, I forgot about that Airdrie cup final. I was working in Luxembourg and was antsy because i didn't know what was happening. Then Fish (a Hibee) opened the show with 'Celtic 1 Airdrie 0'. I had to stay professional. Did I buggery!
I was spared the pain of that low point in our history since I had recently moved to Canada and was too busy bringing up my young family and working for bombardier in Montreal ! I could not believe how close we actually came before the bank foreclosed.
