The cymbal line just adds so much texture, visual appeal, and musicality to the overall sound of the drumline. I'm not really sure why most corps got rid of them. Randy Marsh They're 20" Mediums. Not to many companies them today. Mostly the corps that march under a former Vanguard tech and use West Coast style visuals and playing technique (Academy, SCV and VC, Columbians, and Cascades)
