Wish I still had my Street stock. Borrowed $600 for tires, showed up late, ran about 20 practice laps, qualified 8th, was sick and chugged a bottle of dayquil race day, and finished 3rd in the new years bash in 2011. Paid the guy back I borrowed money from and almost broke even on the trip! Top 5 best times of my life! (Edit: 8" tires back then)
Question about tires in the drivers meeting? What were they implying that someone didn’t buy tires that is racing, or do you have to buy tires from the track?? Please explain, I’m NOT a big NASCAR fan, too many rules!! Thx
