I bought 3 sets of the lowercase letters when they were available. Or you can leave space for the duplicated letters and do another foiling to put them in.
I'd love to see what everyone is making - if you are on Facebook, you could come and join the GoPress group where I am one of the admins facebook.com/groups/277552375916034/ Members post pictures of what they've made and ask questions - everyone helps each other and many of my videos have been made as a result of ideas and discussions that have come up on there.
I got it on ebay from a seller who had some odd rolls. That seller doesn't appear to have any listed at the moment but there are other UK sellers who do have some. I searched for "Hot Stamping Foil Roll". You can get them for between £10 and £20 depending on size and length plus postage. Make sure the foil is for hot foil stamping and not toner foil and do be aware that not all commercial hot stamping foils give good results on uncoated (plain) card at the temperature the GoPress operates at. I've found it very liberating having big rolls to test things out with - not having to worry about how much foil I'm wasting while experimenting.
They are Craft Stash own brand and were only available from Craft Stash. Unfortunately they sold out some time ago and they have not had them back in stock.
Hi Joanne Thanks so much for these extremely helpful videos!! They have been a godsend for me!! I see this was made in April, and was wondering if you have more information on the actual, brand of foil you used with that big roll. Since it works so well for you, I'd like to be able to,purchase the same brand from eBay!! Thanks, Pam
My big roll of foil is Kurz brand foil. The Silver works very well on the smooth, white 250gsm card that I use, and hot foil stamps that have fine lines. But, it doesn't work as well as Couture Creations foil on stamping/water colour card. Kurz do a large range of foils with differing properties for the heat and pressure they work well with. I also have a large roll of Red which is from one of their other ranges and that needs more pressure than other foils I have. There is no guarantee that foil you buy in large rolls will work with the card/paper you have with the GoPress - and the supplies cannot test them for you, it's a chance you take.
Hi Joanne. Thank you for such a wonderful video, I hadn't thought of tipping the go press upside down to make placement so much easier. Would this technique work with any word stamp (ie Happy Birthday) placed within a suitable frame and if that was a new cut and foil die plate might that also cut it out at the same time giving a quick way of producing foiled sentiments?
I don't think foiling the sentiment and foiling/cutting the frame at the same time would work, and the frame dies that foil and cut at the same time need to be used with a metal shim on the GoPress. But check out my videos on using those for tips on positioning sentiments or other hot foil stamps in the frames separately
Hi!! I love your videos, you inspired me to start foiling and I love it! Could you tell me where you purchased the letters and numbers I have a hard time ordering from where I do and would love to use those in my projects!!! you are very talented and your videos are very helpful!! I love your cards, all your work it’s simply beautiful!! I’m a big fan
Hoy do you do when you use the same letter twice in a Word?

Thank you, very informative. Was also interested in the huge roll of foil you used. Is it readily available please?

Thank you, I will do a search. The not having to worry about running out when testing etc is what I would like the larger roll for.
What brand are those alphabeths, and where can I get them?
They are Craft Stash own brand and were only available from Craft Stash. Unfortunately they sold out some time ago and they have not had them back in stock.
Hi joanne I also really want that alphabet, where can I buy it
It was made by Craft Stash - but is no longer available
