Just posted my first things to do on Z Flip 4 video! Check it out here: th-cam.com/video/56dh-LAZhl8/w-d-xo.html In case you were wondering: Cover screen app launcher is from Good Lock MultiStar And the theme that I have on the Z Flip 4 is called "I like sunflowers" made by THENEW Hope you enjoyed the vid! :)
As a brand-new Fold 4 owner, I'm really happy that the Flip 4 is also a great phone. I was never really sure of the benefit of foldables in the past, but my Fold 4 has proven without a doubt that they are the future and are ready for public consumption. I do really like the idea of the rear camera display, it doesn't seem gimmicky at all, it looks really useful 🙂
@@johndoe-vc1we It's not something that you can visualize very easily if you've never owned a foldable. Essentially, the gap between tablet and phone is even closer; multitasking is much easier and more intuitive on foldables. Even something as simple as having your password manager alongside your web-browser, or Amazon and your banking app side by side, makes a huge difference compared to constantly switching apps and forgetting what is open on a normal phone.
@@Dunestorm333 if you need to do that then use a larger monitor by connecting the phone with Dex. Problem? Flip models don't come with Dex. Forgot to mention I had multiscreen with galaxy note 10.1 tab running JB back in 2012. It was a bit clunky coming from windows but workable.
I got the Z Flip 4 after having an S21 and honestly love it. If you only use your phone for basic stuff and want something minimal it's really great. The trade-in value I got for it was extremely fair, and I travel a lot so it's the prefect phone for me. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a good travel phone.
I'll be trading in my S21 as soon as my bespoke Flip 4 arrives. I don't know if I'll like the big difference in form factor, but I hope to love it. Do you find it a bit of a 'nuisance ' to have to flip the phone open every time you want to do something instead of just clicking the power button?
@@pavichokche I don't use my phone a ton so if I'm at my desk I just leave it open, if I'm around town or actively doing stuff it stays closed most of the time. If you're a mobile/phone person it probably will annoy you, but if you just want something new and don't do anything crazy on your phone it's a great package. I got the blue bespoke and love it, the trade-in value was great. I also got the watch5/buds2 bundle since the discount was so large.
You guys should really stop throwing away your phone after such a short time. You waste your money, finance the chinese dictatorship and ruin the environment. A modern smartphone can be used for 5 years (okay not the folding ones, those are build to break).
@@mnico239 You are right technically. However, I sincerely doubt that samsung puts the phones they give us hundreds of dollars for in the garbage. They likely sell them for a fair bit less, allowing lower income people to get a good phone. Worst case scenario, they would recycle the phone responsibly, or use its parts to repair multiple other devices. I'm terms of my finances, they gave me more for my phone than I can get for it on the local used market, that was one of my reasons for doing this. With some discounts and included other devices, I can make the phone's cash cost to me low enough to where if I don't like it, I can resell it locally and have enough to buy my old phone and break even.
I love that you explore so many extra stuff that relates to the practical daily usage of the phone and not just the base minimum specs and functionalities
I don't know what y'all want from a camera phone but the camera performance of the Z flip 4 is good and portrait photos specifically is significantly better than the iPhone 13 pro even without a telephoto or lidar hardware because of Samsung's new AI stereo depth mapping technology. From the camera sample comparison, it should be enough for any regular user though Z flip series *isn't* a camera centric series in Samsung's line up.
I dont have the phone yet. Pre ordered it to me and for my wife. I am using an Iphone and my wife Note 9. I used the flip 4 in a store and man the camera is actually good. The telephoto could be better. And for selfies its the best phone ever. The UI is fast thx Snapdragon. Wouldnt regret
Comprehensive! Seems like the foldables are hitting a point where they're ready for wider adoption without being too compromised. I didn't like flip phones back in the day, and I don't really think I'd like the foldable form-factor - I'd rather not have to open my phone to use it. Even so, it's great that there are options, and I'm genuinely impressed with how well this device performs.
I’ve watched over 20 different reviews on this phone and I most say your review was the absolute best! Thank you for the work you put in to make this video.
For me, nobody can beat MrMobile's reviews of foldables, but her review definitely is my second favorite. Loved the format and attention to details, which not every reviewer cares about.
I feel like her review definitely suits me better. I’m just a normal average person looking for a phone, I don’t really care about all of the technical sides. Her review has so many details that are useful for me personally. Still not convinced about getting this phone because I think folding screen technology can still be improved, but it’s cool😂
So I’ve been using the Flip 3 since it came out, and have come to some basic conclusions regarding the form factor. As the Flip 4 is a tiny iteration of it mainly just being a hardware upgrade, this will translate directly. The main advantages of the Flip form factor: - Super compact. Can fit in shirt pockets, back pockets, smaller pockets, whatever. Also doesn’t fall out of pockets as easily. The convenience of the size is a pretty big deal if you need it. - IMO the half folded state is a gimmick for pretty much everything but two things: Video calls and hands free video/photos. Being able to do this on the fly anywhere without needing a stand is where this form factor makes practical sense. - Needing to unfold your phone is a barrier of entry. That can be seen as a pro or a con. I see it as a pro as that “annoyance” can be used as a tool to help curb bad habits of checking your screen every 30 seconds. - The display on the back is great for selfies with the main camera. Though a feature like this isn’t reliant on folding. Main cons: - The crease. You do get used to it and it isn’t really noticeable except in certain lighting, but it certainly is a con. - The soft screen. I’m one that has went without screen protectors for years as it just didn’t make sense to me to cover tough scratch resistant glass with easily scratched plastic. Never had an issue with scratched screens. However foldable have a long way to catch up on scratch resistance, so I’ve used one on my flip. Unfortunately when you’re folding and unfolding a sticker hundreds of times, it’s easy for it to become unstuck. My screen protector started peeling from the screen at the fold after less than a year and this is a common problem. Expect to need to replace the screen protector. - Less children friendly. I’m not worried about letting a niece or nephew play a game on a bar phone as they’re unlikely to scratch it and it’s easily cleaned. However with this phone gunk from sticky fingers getting up in the hinge and the easily scratched screen is a different story… TL;DR - The downsides of this phone are serious enough that you shouldn’t get it as a gimmick. However if you need the form factor, then its the best option out there. For my use the advantages of the form factor outweigh the disadvantages, though I’m hoping to see those disadvantages go away with each iteration.
Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking about getting this phone just for its cool looks but I need also something that's gonna last at least.. the crease made me rethink. I just want a phone with a good camera at night and lightweight, that's it.
Wow, I love pros and cons list and yours is one of the most comprehensive ones I've ever read so far. It really does come down to each person's intention of buying the z flip. I too, am considering on getting the z flip for the form factor bc I normally like to keep my phone in my pocket at all times but the current sizes of phones today are not cutting it (they either stick out and hit my pelvis or fall out). Cheers!
I love my Z Flip4! I've been an iPhone user for years and I have no complaints about this phone. I don't really understand all the complaints about this phone... if you don't like a feature on this phone, you could easily go for another phone that is even possibly cheaper.... Love your videos, keep up the great content! ♡
Hiya! Im an iphone user that wants to switch to the Z Flip4 but kinda hesitant. I find that my iphone lags a lot (even when i first bought it) did you experience anything similar with the Z Flip4? :) Thanks!
@@Джейн-ъ6ж I don't have the z flip, but I have the s22+ and I love it! I have experience with apple and Samsung and I prefer Samsung phones. But I like iPads more than Samsung tablets. I've never had issues with lagging on Samsung phones.
Mine is on the way; can't wait to have baby Z flip 4 in my hands. Phone looks so cool and your comments guys are so encouraging.. Thanks Ella for the beautiful review🥳🥳
I love this phone!! It has definitely been improved from the Z Flip 3. The battery life depends on the user and your optimizations. I don't do a lot of gaming, connected to wifi majority of the time. I can use it from 8 to 5 at work and still at 88%. It's faster and I love the mate finish. Samsung really did listen to the consumers issues. Almost 1 week in with my Z Flip 4 and no regrets. Great review!!💜💜 See you next video.
the more i read comments like yours, the more i'm relieved of my choice to upgrade from flip 3. I love my flip 3 phone, but really, the biggest problem for me is the battery life.
@@sometimesiwonderwhatevenam9791 I'm mostly connected to wifi, make sure that I don't have apps running in the background. I do optimize my settings but I'm not a hard social media person. I check ever so often during the day. I don't game on my phone but I do use adaptive settings for lighting that helps too. Deleted any apps that I don't use anymore or put them to sleep. You'll be surprised of what's running in the background utilizing your battery. That's what I do.
I hope that someday these types of foldable displays will have more affordable models on the market. It's lovely and I've been eyeing it since the first ones came out, but it's not even remotely in my budget.
The best flip 4 review I have seen so far. You mention details that I have not heard from anyone else, such as only half the phone being used for effective heat dissipation, and Snapdragon in all regions. Really useful to know! 👍
I just had a look at it in a store and I was pleasantly surprised at how high valuable it feels. However, I was quiet shocked how noticeable the line is on the screen after people saying, that they barely notice it online. It was especially noticeable when taking pictures. Guess I’ll wait another gen or so
I totally recommend this phone (ive had it for 4 days now). Its been years that I have not been this excited by a phone. So many new features that come with the flipping feature. Especially for taking pictures ! What's more, it's a great conversation starter ! The only downside is the phone heats up pretty fast when intense use (photo editing or gaming for example). Make sure you update your apps regularly.
@@AgentSnowcat camera is not amazing, but it's good enough if you are not a professional cameraman. It still has very good photos. The weakest point of the phone is still a very strong strength of the phone.
Great review. I switched from an iPhone to Z Flip 4 and couldn't be happier. I was very hesitant to move out of the apple ecosystem, but Samsung is delivering quality all round!
I love the Z Flip 4! I’ve been considering getting one as my personal phone but Im tied between purple and blue as they’re both such pretty colors. I love that you can easily customize and change the entire look and aesthetic of your phone just by downloading and applying a theme, it’s always been my favorite feature of Samsung devices.
God bless both you and whoever is reading, dont forget Jesus loves you. He died on the cross for our sins and rose three days later. Have an amazing and safe day!❤️!!
If it helps you can get the cover changed. So maybe prioritise the colour of the cage of the phone. Cause if the cover breaks you can get the other colour.
Since the first time I saw a flip-phone style was being made again I've been obsessed with getting one and it became my dream phone right away. Hopefully I can buy one soon.
I upgraded from an S21 and got a fantastic trade-in deal. Absolutely love the phone, and this review is a perfect summary of my experience! No device will ever be perfect for everyone, but I'm super happy with this one for me! Thanks, Ella!
Hi! I am considering buying the S21, as I can't afford the newest Samsung models, and I was wondering how long the battery on the S21 lasted you (assuming you used it for more than a year) and how you liked the camera. Would be super helpful to get some insights!
@martying94 Hi! I found the battery lasted super well, I didn't notice much deterioration at all in the just over a year I had it, and I know friends with similar experiences. Found the camera was great, really crisp and clear. I'd had a Pixel 4XL before it and thought the general quality of the images was much nicer on the S21. I'm not a huge photography person, but it did me well for holiday snaps, a couple of sunsets and lowlight was decent enough too. Worked really well for your average everyday user, I'd venture!
Yeah, the problem is we all need a portable device so we can use it on the go, but also a computer at home for more complicated stuff. I feel like I need a phone, desktop computer, and laptop to be fully functional at this point.
Seeing this phone everywhere really made me want one since it’s so cute 🤔 I’ve always been an iPhone user and I check my phone quite frequently, but this review definitely gave me some perspective on whether this phone would be good for me personally
Yeah, I’ve never had a Samsung phone, I would be like the black sheep… everywhere. Since I’m American and literally live in California, everyone has an iPhone. :/ But this phone is gorgeous!
Finally, a review that says the Z Flip4 is better than the S22. I won't be regretting my decision of pre-ordering one. Just waiting for my Pink Gold to arrive! :)
I have this phone and I've watched several review videos but this one was the most complete, interesting and esthetically pleasant I have ever watched. Nice job.
Jed tell me what phone should i get,i've been using Samsung Phone almost 10 years and i'm thinking about between Flip 4 and I Phone 13 pro and i dont know which one
@@djedo3778 flip 4 is a great phone but iphone would be a totally new experience for you. At the same time, the flip 4 its such a fun smartphone, im loving mine.
I've had this phone for a week after switching from Apple to Samsung and I had no idea you can take photos and access other apps through the cover portion o.o. Good to know! I've been enjoying this phone so far and definitely need to look into all the customization features this phone has to offer.
I’d be really interested to see how the hinge part of the screen works after a year or two of use. I’m the kind of person who had my iPhone 5 from its release up until about a year ago, so durability is very important to me. If the fold series could ever be that level of durable I might consider it. Planned obsolescence makes my blood boil
ive been using the original z flip for 2 years now and about a month ago it just started turning off whenever i close it. i didnt drop it or anything just happened suddenly. i am still using it only problem is i cant even "flip" it now! and have to be extra careful with the screen when im putting in my bag. googled the issue and seems others are getting the same issue down the line even with the zflip3.. so hope this is fixed in this release.
same. ive been using the same phone for 6 years now and want a new phone and am very tempted by the flip 4 but i dont wanna shell out money for a phone that might not last me even 2 years
I'm using z flip 3 for abt less than 1 year. Now I'm actually having thoughts of getting a regular phone instead of the flip. I had to change the screen protector once because a crease was formed. Now, I can see the crease is slowly appearing again. Small bubbles are starting to form at the side of the hinge. I often drop my phone too (my mistake) so I can say it is definitely NOT durable. When it's closed, i can see scratches and cracks on the hinge area. I don't use my phone often, mostly for work purposes. I don't play games at all so I dont necessary need all the cool features. Mainly bought it for its size and how compact it is
Oh my gosh? Are you...me? 😆 🤣 Literally went from an iPhone 5SE, 1 gen so 2016, to an iPhone 6s cause I so am not dealing with not having a headphone jack, but soon while that iPhone 6s battery started to go to garbage, I finally came to the realization that if I wanted a small phone, with a headphone jack, and expandable storage, I'm gonna need to do some googling about the internet cause Apple just ain't cutting it anymore.
i've had the z flip 3 for like a year now and i've had absolutely no problem with it. my dad's, on the other hand, already has a gigantic air bubble that makes a horrible noise when he closes the phone. i personally don't know what to believe about its durability lol, I just hope for the best. the smartest option is simply wait and see the results on other people's devices, as u said haha
@erikam7313 a year later and here's my reply 😆😅 there are some aspects of iPhone I miss such as the cameras and my widgets but everyday I look at my phone and I love it. You can't even see the line/fold when you use it unless you really look hard for it. Bixby is great but the routines are okay. The fold has helped me a lot when it came to concerts and events. It's just overall a beautiful phone.
Thank you for mentioning the Goodlock cover screen launcher widget. You're the only person who I have seen mention it. It's great for battery life and utility. You just published the most useful review of the device.
This should have been on top result when I searched for Flip 4 to decide whether to get it or not. I got one now and so happy to watch this!! Nice job 👍
honestly if i were ever to move away from iphone i think this is the phone id go for, samsung has definitely done good work promoting it considering i see it everywhere lol
This review has made me want the Flip 4! An amazingly detailed review as always Ella! You answer questions I have, and questions I didn't know I had! ❤️
You make the best reviews. Focus is on benefits, the user experience instead of the technical specifications. Your videos are very well produced and great to look at. No crazy lights and fake plants or talking into a fancy mike. What a relief😊
I really like smaller phones, this is my first ever "big" phone, but I love its small width and folder form factor. I also got it on a steal from T-Mobile, traded in my 3 year old S10e for a $500 value off the Z Flip 4. I'm super minimal and I don't use my phone often, so I really enjoy not needing to open the phone all the time to get most of my things done, the fold is like a barrier to entry to using the phone which is a great plus funnily enough.
Sick video, L. No guessing why you have 186,000 subscribers. Your words are precise to the "T" and your photo explanations are awesome. Thank you so much for taking the time to blog. So much appreciated!
excellent thorough review, love the comparisons directly with the s22 and iphones. upgraded from flip 3, battery is significantly better than last year, been loving it. along with the galaxy watch 5 pro (also a battery beast) and buds2 pro. very good. better than my apple airpod pros and iphone 13 combo.
Fiiiinally a good review for this phone! I've been trying to decide what direction to go in for my next upgrade, but no one has been especially articulate imo This was very helpful thanks!
I used the Z Flip 4 a lot on watching TH-cam with bluetooth earbud out on the coffee shop and cafe when on business trip and it really catches the eyes of people surrounding me. It is one of my favorite tasks that my Pixel 6 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro cannot do. Anyway, enjoy your video a lot and keep it up.
I got the pink one today. Looks more like rose gold and I love it. The quality of this phone is amazing. The 120ghz of refresh is amazing as well. Well done Samsung.
Did anyone notice she said BLACKPINK instead of Rose gold for the phone colors? Lol I just got this phone and am pretty happy with it. Loved this comprehensive review with examples!
Este es el mejor video que se a hecho sobre el Z Flip 4,tus vídeos tienen un guión excelente, no se desperdicia nada de tiempo, son muy completos, tu dicción es excelente, la edición es muy profesional y tus comentarios personales aportan mucho
Great friendly review. I am lowkey disappointed that you still need two hands to comfortably open and close the phone. You know, one-handability is kind of the thing with these compact form factor phones. Clamshell phones of the yore even had dedicated buttons to pop open the screen. I can't see why Samsung is not implementing anything like this when it's so obvious.
this is also something i was so disappointed by when i tried the flip 3 in stores!!! back then they still displayed the flip 2 in the store so i tried it and in comparison the flip 2 was fairly easy open with one hand. i'm sure the reason they cant implement it is because of the durability issues of the flip 2 which was noticeably reduced with the hinge design change on the flip 3.
I traded in my S20 to get this phone but I think what’s being said here are very minor issues. It really comes down to how much of a power user you are. I’m from the era of using flip phones so it will be kind of nostalgic for me to have this phone. I’m looking forward to getting it in my hands. I do worry about over time usage when it comes to the screen and hinge but I’m sure by the time that day comes a new one will be coming out and I would just trade it in.
Thesw flip phones are prone to faults with the screen popping up and with samsung doing exactly what theyve always done which is ignore it and pretend it isnt their fault it happens and ignore it so that they dont have to repair or replace it when all electronic devices have a 2 year manufacturers warranty
As a Flip 3 user, in my experience instead of using the software video stabilizer, use the phone in flex mode and hold it like a camcorder. The video is relatively stable and the quality is good.
To anyone who’s thinking of buying one DON’T, the hinges are a weak point and Samsung know it and won’t fix it under warranty, if you drop it the hinges are the first things to break, keep away.
I've used this phone 1 week for testing and loved. When I come back to my main phone, I wished that I could fold it as well due to the versatility of having a phone that you can put in your pocket and not worry about scratches. It's unfortunately that this phone still is so expensive to justify such an investment.
Great and useful vid! I've been an Android user most of my life and had switched to my first IPhone (11) a couple years ago and this is the only phone that is tempting me to switch back...
Be careful if you open it by 'jamming' your finger between the cracks - it greatly increases the risk of damaging the screen. If you practice flicking your wrist after the hinge isn't factory-fresh stiff you can generally open it fairly easily that way (at least on the 3). The 3's screen protector adhesion wore off along the crease after about 6 months for me, and I've heard the same from others. It will start at the edge of the crease, so keep an eye open for that! It should last longer with the 4, since I heard they used a better adhesive for it. :)
I don't know how I haven't heard of the Cover Launcher until now, but that is a game changer! Thank you! I've had my Z Flip 3 for 6 months now and all the things I wish I could do on the cover screen are possible! As a bonus I put Geometry Dash on there which is so cute. Great video!
I just bought this phone last week and it's been a delight to use. Didn't take long to get used to it. Crease doesn't bother me when my finger slides up to scroll, and I see right past it. I still have my Note 9 as a backup, which I've been using since 2018, but I already don't miss it.
I remember escaping samsung after using it for 4 years to apple. I'm an apple user for 3 years now and I'm so tempted to switch back for this uwifhuiwef
Maybe I'll consider the next gen version depending on durability and battery life. But for now I'm just going to observe that the cover screen (with the exception of new features) is basically the same function as the LG V10 and V20 had with their always-on top display, and the palm recognition for photos for the LG line as well.
Thanks for sharing your reviews and overall perspective of the new Galaxy flip phone, as I may consider purchasing this from my older model as the older one has some very bad malfunctions and loss of battery drains. But now after hearing this I am confident to buying this new flip 4, as the design and the battery life and even cameras seem decent
They need to make the screen size on the outside way larger to cover the whole thing when it’s folded, and it can be the super strong glass also. So in a lot of instances you might not even want to open it up if your already looking at a screen half the size of the phone.
No thanks. Not worth sacrificing the form factor to fit a larger battery, or the battery drain if they don't put a larger battery in. Likewise, it would make it much more fragile & expensive to repair. Aesthetically, if it was much larger it would break the rule of thirds it has going on right now, a.k.a. it would look less sleek & appealing. At most, I wouldn't mind smaller bezels and maybe adjusting the cameras to add more room in the ⅓ of the front the cover screen takes up. I think if you need to open your phone enough that you find it annoying, consider getting a Fold or slab phone, or something instead.
I have been complaining that phones now have gotten too big to fit into your pocket so I am interested in this folding phone. My current Galaxy phone is so long that it slides out of my pocket every time I bend over to pick something up. I have a protective case but the fact it lands on a hospital floor I know I'm always getting some nasty bacteria on it. This looks like a perfect solution for my problem!
I've had the flip3 for a while and decided to upgrade to the flip4 to get some more storage and the violet color. I really love it. I didn't know about the Cover Launcher, so thanks for this! It's really so useful :) Awesome video!
I have a z flip 3 screen protector failed in 6 months. After much research. I settled on a Whitestone dome premium film. This screen protector is THE BEST out of all the options I've tried. It self heals and feels amazing. Ts better than the factory one as that one you could see the fine scratches from where my thumbs glide over the screen. Not with the Whitestone. This past weekend I accidentally left my card keys in my back pocket with my zflip 3 opened. The keys destroyed the screen protector but luckily the main screen was not damaged. Guess who just finished installing their 2nd Whitestone on his zf3 today !! I swear to God this screen protector is the BEST!!!! You have been warned!
Wow! I've been watching for a bit. This is an amazing, complete review. Way to go! Thank you, Ella. My next phone will most likely be the Z flip. I wanted to see it in a pocket, for scale and also, with a finger ring in the center, I imagine carrying your phone around that way would be so convenient. Love Samsung for their innovation. The iPhone in comparison just seems so boring!
I’ve always had an iPhone and I want to upgrade to the z flip after seeing all the cute videos with them but the change in ui scares me bc I really like apple’s ui
The requiremnt to flip open is tedious alright. But I think its an unintended benefit. It helps me avoid using the phone excessively, infinite scrolling etc (aka wasting my life)

It's photos are better than the iPhones. iPhones HDR sucks
😂 haha
I agree!
yes, interms of portrait samsung is the best even their low end devices have better portrait mode.
Thank you for the work you put in to make this video.
thanks so much!
For me, nobody can beat MrMobile's reviews of foldables, but her review definitely is my second favorite. Loved the format and attention to details, which not every reviewer cares about.
Did you also watch DankPods review?
I feel like her review definitely suits me better. I’m just a normal average person looking for a phone, I don’t really care about all of the technical sides. Her review has so many details that are useful for me personally. Still not convinced about getting this phone because I think folding screen technology can still be improved, but it’s cool😂
It feels more like a normal person reviewing a phone, it makes it easier to imagine if itd work for you
So I’ve been using the Flip 3 since it came out, and have come to some basic conclusions regarding the form factor. As the Flip 4 is a tiny iteration of it mainly just being a hardware upgrade, this will translate directly.
The main advantages of the Flip form factor:
- Super compact.
Main cons:
- The crease.
However with this phone gunk from sticky fingers getting up in the hinge and the easily scratched screen is a different story…
TL;DR - The downsides of this phone are serious enough that you shouldn’t get it as a gimmick.

@@Джейн-ъ6ж Nope. Not a single problem so far! You should definitely give this phone a try (:

Can you tell me how you make your phone battery last? I'm already at 72% and I've only been using it for like 3 hours
the more i read comments like yours, the more i'm relieved of my choice to upgrade from flip 3. I love my flip 3 phone, but really, the biggest problem for me is the battery life.
@@sometimesiwonderwhatevenam9791 I'm mostly connected to wifi, make sure that I don't have apps running in the background. I do optimize my settings but I'm not a hard social media person. Wow! I have an iPhone (albeit an XR) and it’ll die without me even using it. I need to shut my phone down completely as to not drain battery.
They say the iphone 14 plus is the best in battery. Among the iPhones of course

Great to read this. I’m so tempted for this flip phone but have been apple for soooo many years I’m not sure I’ll like android
I was like that so I got the purple phone with a blue case

@@caitsayssmile many thanks for the feedback! 🥰

The editing level is now on the next level..♥️♥️♥️

I really like smaller phones, this is my first ever "big" phone, but I love its small width and folder form factor. I also got it on a steal from T-Mobile, traded in my 3 year old S10e for a $500 value off the Z Flip 4.
I'm super minimal and I don't use my phone often, so I really enjoy not needing to open the phone all the time to get most of my things done, the fold is like a barrier to entry to using the phone which is a great plus funnily enough.

I’m getting a new phone and wasn’t if z flip 4 was worth it but your video really help me convinced that it is.
What I'm afraid of flip phones is that the line where the phone folds gets more and more noticeable after like a year of using and close-opening it.
Great video 😊.
I've upgraded from the Zflip 3.
The changes are quite substantial and I love it!.

you deserve so much more your content is great !!!
Best review of this phone ever! Almost convinced me of getting it :)
Information packed from start to end. Excellent review!

As a Flip 3 user, in my experience instead of using the software video stabilizer, use the phone in flex mode and hold it like a camcorder. The video is relatively stable and the quality is good.
I really like the production value of this video. The content too! You talked about things I didn't know I wanted to know about. Congrats!
To anyone who’s thinking of buying one DON’T, the hinges are a weak point and Samsung know it and won’t fix it under warranty, if you drop it the hinges are the first things to break, keep away.
This is by far the best review of this phone I've watched. Especially you comparing it to S22 and an iPhone. Super helpful. Thank you!
I've used this phone 1 week for testing and loved. When I come back to my main phone, I wished that I could fold it as well due to the versatility of having a phone that you can put in your pocket and not worry about scratches. It's unfortunately that this phone still is so expensive to justify such an investment.
My cellphone stopped working today after falling down. Thank you for your work! I needed it in order to choose its successor. :)
Great and useful vid! I've been an Android user most of my life and had switched to my first IPhone (11) a couple years ago and this is the only phone that is tempting me to switch back...
First time watching one of your videos. Very well put together! I also liked your structural breakdown of the flip. Felt like a dissection. 👍
Honestly the trade in deal for the flip 3 to flip 4 makes it perfectly worth it. The free G-buds pro helps too lol
Your commitment to bringing an informative video is awesome! Congrats, awesome review!
Maybe I'll consider the next gen version depending on durability and battery life. But for now I'm just going to observe that the cover screen (with the exception of new features) is basically the same function as the LG V10 and V20 had with their always-on top display, and the palm recognition for photos for the LG line as well.
I've been watching you for a while, your reviews are really good and detailed,
keep it up, I'm looking forward to reviews of the new iPhones :)
Glad it was helpful!
This is such a good video, you can tell you really put thought and creativity into it man, shout out to you!!
They need to make the screen size on the outside way larger to cover the whole thing when it’s folded, and it can be the super strong glass also. So in a lot of instances you might not even want to open it up if your already looking at a screen half the size of the phone.
Agree. Over time i think they will def make the outside screen bigger. I'll switch to the flip at that time.
No. Just no
My thoughts exactly. It's super cool, but also so small it's almost not even useable.
@@Scotia__ thats your opinion. But i can bet the screen will get larger over time to cover the entire one side of the phone when folded.

BLACKPINK! I even went back to hear the colors and realize graphite became black and pink gold, pink. But that really caught me off guard haha.

I wish all phone brands make a flip version, would honestly be such a hit 😭
Glad it was helpful!
Another great video. I love all the purple
I’ve always had an iPhone and I want to upgrade to the z flip after seeing all the cute videos with them but the change in ui scares me bc I really like apple’s ui
I switched to android from iPhone. Its easy and you'll enjoy it.
Your nail paint match the phone :o !
The requiremnt to flip open is tedious alright. But I think its an unintended benefit. It helps me avoid using the phone excessively, infinite scrolling etc (aka wasting my life)
