I've generally been a fan of drag queens, but I never necessarily watched any of the RuPaul shows except for bits and pieces. It wasn't until the PH version that I finally dived in. As a Filipino-American, I LOVE how the show doesn't feel like a washed down version of Philippine culture that's palatable to non-Filos, but it actually feels like its own standalone thing and purely pinay. That being said, I seriously look forward to all of your Drag Race PH videos. I love critiquing the fashion and I love the input you have to bring. When it comes to Myx's superhero runway, I actually ATE. IT. UP. quite literally 'cause I used to eat the snacks as a kid the looks were referring to. The colors couldn't be helped because it's the original colors of the packaging and even the superhero mascot, but I do overall agree that it reads as super low budget sci-fi. The moment I saw Myx's friend's hair, I already knew it would be a point of discussion, LOL. Maxie being the winner is somewhat surprising to me too. Not because I thought the runway was bad, but because it almost felt like a sleeper moment? Like, the judges talked way more about the other looks unless I'm delusional. I do love the point on matching energies though and it really does show the love their family has. Though, I honestly thought Zymba would win. Other than that, thank you for the content and showing love to Drag Race PH! Congrats on making partner too! I wish you more success from here!
@@rerahs thanks so much!! i love PH especially because of how culturally-centered it is. like snatch game was legitimately one of the funniest in the entire pantheon of drag race, but if you didn’t understand that it’s VERY authentically chaotic in the way filipino comedy can sometime be, it doesn’t hit the same as the westernized versions of it. but that’s why it was SO GOOD! i had never seen the packaging for myx’s reference point so i wouldn’t have known that about had you not just pointed it out, so i do enjoy that about her look but i still think it’s a personal taste thing of not liking the colors all together 😅 even just based on the storyline of the episode it very much felt like a zymba win CLEARLY. i see why maxie won for sure, but it does kinda feel like when she does just as well as someone else, she’ll get the win to establish her as the only viable option for the crown. if anyone feels like they’re getting pushed ahead in the comp, for me it’s angel. there’s been a couple of times i felt she should’ve been in the bottom 2 that they saved her and with the family storyline especially for this episode in particular, they can do more with maxie and setting up her winner storyline with her still there. love them both though! i will say none of the maxie wins have felt unwarranted though, like some other wins we’ve seen lately in the drag race universe (*coughglobalallstarscough*). they all make tons of sense.

I like the look it's giving clown baby look. So it is a SLAY for me.
