Always amazing how Tony gets offended at relatives of his victims being sad. Like literally offended. You can see him get mad, and he puts the blame on them
its just a annoyance to him
narcissistic personality disorder, tony learned nothing from his therapist
he feels guilty, or feels like he is supposed to feel guilty, and that makes him angry at the source of the guilt. And he also feels rightfully threatened by any resentment they could have.

This really encapsulates Tony's downfall. If he was a good person, he wouldn't have killed Spoons, and if he was truly ruthless, he would've killed Patsy. We spend the entire series wondering about Tony's ambiguity, but it's the fact he's never able to commit to either extreme that probably gets him killed in the end.

Character of Petsy Parisi was really well developed. He was always capable, reliable, stable, he wasn't a rat, even though he had every right to be angry at Tony and the rest of the crew. And Dan Grimaldi was excellent, having in mind he is a science professor in real life👏👏👏

It would have been a better ending if the guy in the Members only jacket left the diner and then entered Pat Parisi's car.
I completely disagree, I like the ambiguous ending because it allows the fanbase to creatively come up with all kinds of theories about what happened. And given the fact that there are some big mysteries in the show, like what happened to Slava, the mysterious tone of the ending accords rather nicely.

Patsy got his revenge in the end. Patsy's son was enganged to Meddow so Patsy was one of the few people left who knew the Soprano familys movement in precise detail and would have informed Butch who organised Tony's killing, thus avenging his brother.

@@LennyCole96 no I don't think so, it's not impossible but he works too closely with Tony all the way to the end, even through their boat trip. Whereas there's that key scene in the last episode where Patsy comes over with his wife and Patrick and he just stares at Tony with hatred and contempt.
During that scene, his wife also checks under the plates they're using to see what type they are, and I bet it's because Patsy tells her "we are about to make a lot more money" and she wants to get the same plates the Sopranos have.
He probably didn't tell her what that meant i.e. he'll take over once Tony is whacked, and she probably didn't question it and just thought about the money.

@@LennyCole96 ye but by the end he's still working closely with T, figuring out he was his best bet in the long run, immediately letting him know about carlo missing the meeting. Whereas Patsy meets up with Tony almost only out of obligation to his son & family.
Paulie's last shot is him & the cat in front of Satriale's, the last of the loyal crew still left, but where's Patsy? I definitely think that Paulie being involved has some credence, but I think there were some deliberate shots in that last episode that say otherwise IMO.

Philly's shooting didn't really make sense. He obviously knew Gigi well and he dropped him off somewhere that he knew Gigi lived or stayed because he goes "here you go kid". The fact that he is shot dead in a car directly outside that house is surely going to raise suspicions?
It was a safehouse, probably the last one of Jr’s crew. Philly being shot and left for dead out front of it would’ve been a message that the war was over. Nowhere left to hide and not another word will be spoken about it. Everyone would’ve known who did it and why. Gigi was picked as part of the deal to bring him off the lamb. Someone from Philly’s crew that could easily get close. The really stupid thing was not doing Patsy and instead folding him into your crew.
Patsy is one of the biggest suspects for ordering the hit on Tony at the end
'They can go into the pool'
*camera shifts to Patsy's face, knowing full well what he did to that pool*
Poor Philly, he was so thick the bullet didnt even pass with enough force to shatter the car window
6:05 great performance that pain and distress looked real
I think Pat Parisi had Tony whacked at the end by Mr Member's Only, as revenge for his identical twin Philly getting whacked after Tony gave the order.
We will never know who ordered Tony's hit if he was really killed in the end, the end was deliberately made that way, that we don't know if he's dead or not, who ordered it, Chase didn't wanna give definitive answer, it's all up to us to decide, if he's killed my money would be on Butch, Tony was the only obstacle to take over North Jersey and make it Lupertazzi's turf, maybe Paulie and Patsy helped him

Let me tell you couple of three things I’ll miss borko like a brother in law
Basically just pieced it together. Patsy had tony killed at the end Patsy finally found out that it was Tony who had his brother whacked.
He knew before. He just couldn't do anything about then. With everyone dead and Sil in a coma, there was no one really left to oppose him. We know that Paulie was not really happy with Tony so they probably agreed.
@@lpr5269Plus his son was probably busted for selling ecstasy with Carlo's son, we'll never know , Chase deliberately made ambigious ending, that no one for sure knows who ordered his hit and was he killed at the end at all
It was either Patsy or Paulie who snitched Tony family dining location in NY to the Hitmen in the last episode; I remember either Patsy or Paulie looking a little squirrelly doing a car meet during that episode's closing montage.
I wish theyd done more with that single malt diatribe
It was my favorite character 😅😅😅
Patsy being a loyal soldier even after he knows that they killed his twin brother puts this show into perspective. He was basically a hostage. They woulda killed him too.
The thing about this life is as much as I feel sorry for Phil and his brother. They would've done exactly the same if they were ordered to. They live by the sword, they die by the sword. And nobody's got clean hands..
"Friends, like us..."
My theory is that: Patsy and Paulie conspired with New York to take out Tony, Sil and Bobby. I think one of them (probably Paulie) also gave up Vito's location to Phil prior to the ending. It may seem crazy for Paulie to be against them but Paulie had proven himself to be a greedy snake. Him going after Sil does seem crazy but Paulie isn't loyal to any of them. When he came up they were just kids. I think what did Paulie in at the end was two things. One being Bobby's ascension ahead of him and the other being the murder of Christopher which Paulie had a serious bond with even if they weren't always friendly to one another. That's one of the reasons I think the Pine Meadows episode is so crucial to the overarching plot. It's never made clear if he knows about Chris but I think there are some clues laid out that show how obvious the murder was to the rest of the crew. All in all what I think happened was Carmine and Butchie made a secret pact to deal with Tony. NY reached out to their Jersey weasel (Paulie) and orchestrated it from there. Paulie communicated to Patsy that both of them "would be taken care of".
I think Carlo said to uncle Philly about Vito whereabouts. That's why Fat Dom Gamiello is passive agressive towards Carlo , he knows that Carlo don't want others to know that so he just ignores Fat Dom, knowing he'll be dead if Fat Dom spills the beans, when Sil hit Fat Dom it gave him oportunity to shut up his mouth forever. But it was a stupid move, Fat Dom may told Phil or Butchie he'll stop in Satriale. And Carlo was the most eager to whack Vito in New Jersey, when Phil killed him, he complimented him that he's not all talk.
That other overweight guy, whom Vito saw in super-market who asked 20 thousand dollars from him may say too, we saw how he smiled when Patsy said he wish he borrowed money from Vito
Poor fuckin’ kid, he was only 51. Sad when they go young like that
I think it was Patsy who had the last laugh and had Tony whacked. He waited four years to strike, there's no way Spoons was kept as a loose end.
7 years, season 2 happens in 2000, season 6b in 2007
Each shot took him to the next level of ringing!
I’m glad Patsy was one of the few to **spoiler**

Well, they are everyday in Satriale and Bing to make schemes, and it's a fuckin' slander these are legitimate businesses- pork shop, strip club and garbage company
Kid brother never had the makings of a varsity athlete
It's 98% likely the NY crew hired "Members Only Guy" to clip Tone at Holstens in front of his family. But a small part of me always wondered if Patsy was behind the hit. Tony Soprano was charismatic as hell, but collected numerous enemies over the years.
It was Patsy and Paulie.
@@josephgrmovsekcollaredcons6085 Yep. Both were in on it.
