Yeah, I was using a #6/O with Large Minnows the other day and caught 4 trophies with it. They weren't biting when I was making this video for some reason.
Pike are an amazing fish. They are worth a lot of experience, and worth a lot of money too! I remember I couldn’t catch pike because I never knew how to catch em. But I watched your Videos to help me. Now all I catch is lake trout and pike. Thanks for the help😎👍
Just caught a 15lb trophy northern in this spot in the am with the red and yellow popper 1/2oz 2/0 hook on 17lb braid. The Atlantic's, perch, and brook trout bite this too. Great videos Jake!
Thanks, Strike. Yeah, I had good luck getting the trophies the day before, but they just weren't biting for some reason when I decided to make this video.
Great video, that canal spot works wonders. I was pulling 13lb trophy pike back to back. Even got an 18lb trophy salmon that flipped my boat xD (still got him though)
Fished one trophy pike on the LAND not water That log just slingshot it to mountain behind Easiest trophy ever , as long as you not put your rod on stand One second you idle it , fish just gone
I’ve been trying to float fish lake trout there all day. No luck so far, I’ve just been catching Atlantic salmon. What would you suggest as a good line lead?
I don't usually float fish for Lake Trout in this area, because I catch mainly pike over here. Theres a good spot for Lake Trout on the other side of the map though. I'll prob be making a video for it as well.
Jake Vegas Digital yes, it is possible to catch lake trout, splake, brookies, whitefish, and atlantics to the left of the dock with float and shiners, either size minnows, or spawn sacks or natural eggs. 3/0 4/0. Still experimenting with depth and distance cast. This lake is majorly hit and miss, somewhat unreliable and frustrating. Good thing for forwarding time. So far 80 to 140+ feet out towards the end of the close tree line, left of the left fire to the far left wall, 45 to 75 inch leader(I start at 50 and move up or down a few inches at a time till they ding me), even caught as deep as max leader but not consistent. Would love to see your experiments/successes and fails for more info. JeThroTuLL916 on ps4 if you want to look me up.
Operation Fat Ass what hook? Even though they're bigger, lake trout love the 3/0 hook. It's what's recommended for unique Lakers. 4/0 for trophy atlantics, and 6/0 for trophy northerns, but varies slightly. They all dig shiners too.

Hi Henry. At level 18 you should be good with the Jigwinner 7' 10" pole with MLR Inspiria 2000 reel and 10 lb line for casting. For float flishing, you'll prob want the Nero 12'10" with 10 lb line. Hope this helps.
When I farm the pike I use shiners and a #4/0 hook. Catch trophies all day.

What depth? Weather?
On how many inches / CM are you going for? Thanks in advance

Yay you're back! Welcome back!!
Yes I am, thank ya miss Witwolven!
Nice video Jake! On my old account, I use a 5/0 hook and got a 14lb Pike like every cast, it was insane!
Thanks, Strike. Yeah, I had good luck getting the trophies the day before, but they just weren't biting for some reason when I decided to make this video.
The line and spinner go crazy because the line is trying to put itself onto the log. Its dodgy physics at its best. Cool effect though.
16:29 Right when you don't think your gonna get one, you get one! That happens to me all the time

Oh yeah, the smallmouth bass fishing is good down there on Neherrin River. Good luck!
Can you avoid salmon with #6/0 hook?
Speaking of Lake Trout...I caught a 22 pound lake trout on a ten pound line!

Yup, you are correct. Good area of white moose lake there. Thanks for your PS4 info, but I play on PC buddy. Appreciate your support!
hello jake I was on your live stream and I had asked you the best rod and reel to use on level 18

thanx see you on your next stream
Thank you for the advice on the reel and pole it seems to work a lot better.
I couldn't catch a pike to save my life there yesterday. Hammered the Salmon's though
Very weird....what were you using?
Same as always , shiners on #4/0. But I found the problem yesterday on day 2 , my leader was too deep
Ah...that could do it.
Wikus Van Dyk what depth is working?
115cm
Can't imagine the amount of times you spit on your mic during your outro lol :D
couldn't tell ya, I have an old sock over it as a pop filter lol
Depth?
