I used the F100 alot in EC7 and been using the Mig 19. The key is using ambush tactics mainly the Vietmenese used. Fly low, spot, destroy, evade. Altitude = death, also I find alot of people try dog fighting you in the Mig 19 and you just out turn them and use guns.

Well Toast, that was honestly something really interesting to watch. Never really ventured into Rank 7 Sim because I can't get a handle on it in RB. But really good video!
I find r7 sim very fun, more so then rb becaue you are relying on radar for target identification and the skill comes more from individual pilot skill and familiarity with your planes wepons and radar instead of luck of not getting into a furbal and swarmed by enemys like in rb. Although i would really like to see a 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 game mode added for air sim with smaller maps to encourage more up close and personal dog fights.

My poor F-100 has been abandoned by me. She was the first jet I ever flew in top tier and I had no idea what I was doing. I got seriously pummeled by the opposition so I retired her forever.

Nice vid as always toast, have you looked into bfm techniques? I’ve been using one circle or flat scissors on ec5 in the sabre and getting plenty of kills 😅

Watching you stuggle to find a way to inform your team you where out of ammo was painful! I was yelling at my screen for u to use the need back up and reloading messages. I miss chat :'(
The F-100 can't rate fight, but it has the AoA to pull funky moves and put the 2nd best guns in the game on target. If you enjoy the F-100, leave the bombs off the F-105 and you get that kind of feel but with better performance, more engine power, best gun, and radar for IFF.

I don’t know how you do it. I am horrible at this aircraft in rb and I don’t dare take it into sb. I am literally mig food no matter what despite almost having the thing spaded.

How do you get ACM on f100 radar
It doesn't have it matey. It only has a ranging radar for the gun gyro'.
How do you turn the warning radar off?

@@Wiz900 I just dive close to terrain and nothing will proc it for the most part. I thought it was pinging other radars back which was the main reason I wanted to turn it off.

Would love to see a video on the J32B in ec7 sim, no rwr, no countermeasures, subsonic, sluggish, only rb24 (aim9b) but at least a somewhat decent radar

Its not easy. I tried this once last year or so after the 100 got the rwr and I thought it could be remotely useful. I was successful but it was during the extreme zomber days, so without having watched the video yet Id say its hard, unless you find a match with .. new pilots :)
We would need spawn points back to give the older jets a sense again.
If they ever implement the rotation system they floated the idea for it would breath some life into the F-100
@@hunterjones225 Yup, but that comes with the downside of not being able to choose the plane you want anymore, youd have to stick to what Gaijin allows you to fly on a day. I dont like that, its like tank sim then.
Just gib spawn points. Its the simplest solution and it has worked for years.
@@Spicysauced tank sim got a bit more interesting for that week or so they added a queue system with it

F100 should be ec6
It really can't drop into EC6 though. It clobbers everything down there.
Dont flat turn a mig make him scissor he is gonna lose speed and slow mig21 is so fucking unstable it gonna be hard for him

Nah its for the better as it makes it easier for players to get into the game mode. What they need to do is add a smaller map game mode for sim with 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 dog fighting match ups with no ground targets.
@@Past10Performance what they need to do is to add more br brackets. Whats the point of using 9.7 plane to get globbered by top tiers?
@@SheriffSticky i deffinitly agree more. Having br brackets in 1 number range works well for the lower tiers, but as soon as radar, missles, and countermeasures become as important as they are in r7 sim it should probably go in .5 br brackets
