AJ got stopped by ref in Ruiz fight because he attempted the same tactics as Parker fight where later in fight, during any break or stoppage he would wander off and have a little rest and stall for time. In the UK, no one would challenge this behaviour cause AJ was the golden goose. I remember at one stage he even pulled tape off his glove with his teeth so he could got to his corner and get a rest and some instructions ruing any chance of Parker working way into fight late with AJ gassing as he had done previously. AJ wasn’t getting away with this in the US and when he couldn’t, it wasn’t just the punches leaving him with that confused look on his face
AJ has a better inside game than Parker, his hooks are shorter and tighter and he throws better combo. How could he use his teeth while wearing gum shield, or he had all the time to spit out the gum shield and look for the the end of the tape on his glove and then get to work peeling it off all while his opponent and the referee are watching? Don’t be ridiculous! If anyone is shamelessly protected it’s Fury. Against Wilder with the long count after not waiving it off, against Whyte with the push, against Usyk with the standing ten instead of eight when it should have been waved off or allow Usyk finish the job.

Is Dubois that big of a puncher? Did he drop either Hrgovic or Miller? No, they never even really looked stunned, Miller gassed out after taking his best punches for 10 rounds, and Hrgovic lost on cuts. Who has Dubois KO'd then? A cruiserweight who knocked him down three times and it looked like an early stoppage, and a bunch of journeymen and no hopers, and Nathan Gorman. Abput a year ago Simon Jordan tried to go after Frank live on talksport and Frank had him on his knees within 5 minutes and agreeingvwith him. Jordan is a casual
I think if dubios caught anyone clean he would give them PTSD and AJ also has a fair bit of sting in his punches, but we have seen with Wilder the sting can be taken out of the punch, I think Dunois has more than a punchers chance to win this fight, but my money is on Joshua
This is a fight build up, we would be talking in a major upset if Dubois is able to win this one… if Ruiz and Usyk are in opposite sides of the spectrum (talking about style)… where does it fit AJ? Where Does it fit Dubois? How did they perform (AJ with both, Dubois against Usyk)… I mean, AJ is in a different level, if Dubois proves me wrong, well he is a world champ and deserves to fight Usyk vs Fury winner… or straight ahead usyk if he not retires and the rematcht does not happen!
Jordan is definitely a hater :) but I tend to agree with him on the fight. It's not the question of if AJ gets hit by Dubois. It's gonna happen. I think AJ might panic. As he's body involuntary reacted to the the shots Franklin threw at him. Fascinating matchup.

So AJ could get ptsd, but in the next breath Simon said Fury beats Usyk in a rematch? No talk of Fury getting ptsd? The double standards are incredible, its still fashionable to hate/discredit anything AJ does wow
SJ is half right, AJs opposition has been crap post Usyk2 but Dubois is not a legitimate champion, no matter what happens for as long as Usyk reigns unified champion then the IBF champion is paper. AJ is rightfully the favourite but Dubois can hurt him/they can hurt each other. You're right about Jordan & Warren though, he's a Queensbury shill. I sometimes enjoy listening to him rip into Hearn & Matchroom but I don't even bother listening to him fluffing Warren & Queensbury because that's exactly what he does. Talksport would be great if they kept the same energy & gave Queensbury both barrels of critique like they do Matchroom.
@@lolade_akinola Perhaps... Definitely Miller who is a good journeyman level heavyweight without juice. Hrgovic is much better than Miller & if he was British we'd be hearing a lot more people telling the TRUTH that is Dubois won via headbutts. Really it should've went to a technical decision & Hrgovic would've won being up 5-1 before a bad round 7 (presumably because he couldn't see properly) & the stoppage in RD8.
I think A.J. wins by KO in the later rounds. I think the early rounds will be close. A.J. has found his confidence again. Dubois has struggled against top level fighters. Yes he has found some confidence but A.J. is still world level and has been in there with better boxers than Dubois and went the distance with Usyk twice. The only way Dubois wins this fight is to hurt A.J. early and KO him.
I favour AJ to win this but Dubious has a great jab, bit like Pulev jab use to be maybe not as refined but its a real weapon and key if Dubious to win the fight.
i think aj beats dubois..joshua is a smart boxer and a bigger unit than dubois who will take risks.if aj empties dubois tank at a decent pace he will stop dubois late..
Ridiculous take from Simon but why should we be surprised? He doesn't even know shit about football and that was his business. Anyone with a boxing brain can see AJ defence, judging of distance, and patience has improved significantly in the las couple of yr, and he still has the power he always had. Dubois has progressed but he does not have good defence. His footwork has improved, he moves in and out now, but he has zero head movement and got hit by Hyrgovic at will. If AJ even lands a couple of clean rights he's going down like Ngannou did. Dubois does have a punchers chance. He hits hard and AJ does not have the most fantastic chin, but its extremely unlikely AJ will give the opening he needs
People need to shut up about the Ruiz fight. He had Ruiz down and went for the finish then he took a massive overhand right to the temple from a fat guy throwing in desperation and never recovered, but neither would any of the other HW's out there. It was a lucky punch thats all. It doesn't make Joshua weak or Ruiz a big puncher. Both these things have since been proven in their follow up fights. If AJ had a chin issue Usyk or Ruiz would have stopped him in the follow up fights, and if Ruiz was great fighter with power he would have continued to win fights and knock guys out.
@@jcwork85 People get confused between reality and fiction. They want fighters to be like superman because when they're unbeaten the media builds them up like they're superhuman, then when they lose they right them off because the image is shattered. It'll happen to Usyk if he keeps on fighting.
What utter nonsense Jordan talks, like he’s completely wrong about Dubois deserving the IBF, what utter BS, We will see if AJ is fully rehabilitated, that he is right about. Hopefully if AJ knocks Dubois out Jordan will give him the credit and Dubois the same forensic dissecting as he will give AJ if he loses!!

Not if he defends with his face and head like he did vs Hergovic. I see Dubois coming forward, full of vigour and getting caught with Joshua's right. Joshua punches somewhat harder than Hergovic and doesn't give up after 5 rounds, has far more skill and boxing IQ than Dubois who has a punchers chance in my opinion. I wouldnt be at all surprised if Daniel is on his back before round 5. Besides, both of them were comprehensively beaten by the real champion and would be again so it's largely irrelevant.

@@mmfood3004 no no no. You can’t have it both ways. He was too small for fury and aj right? Thats what everyone was saying… and now that he won; you can’t say he was a good size. You can’t have it both ways
The irony is that Dubois has been far more questionable in the trenches than Joshua. But hey ho that’s TalkSport boxing
I think AJ should get this done, however dubious is in with a chance. He is aggressive and starts fast, he also knows he can hurt AJ due to sparring in the past so may feel confident.
Jordan is right in some respect dubois is on a better run opponent wise and does have good momentum behind him.
Aj is also on a good run but with softer opponents. Will AJ be ready for a stiff test?
That's why we'll all watch boys!
He will once he lands
Simon Jordan goes after Hearn because Hearn made him look a complete melt when they kicked off at Talksport Towers. Simon was getting red and flustered and Eddie calmly made him look a bit silly. If you do that to Simon his ego doesn't like coming 2nd.
DDD will be a wreck after this fight.
Abput a year ago Simon Jordan tried to go after Frank live on talksport and Frank had him on his knees within 5 minutes and agreeingvwith him. Jordan is a casual
If DD gets aj on his back foot immediately..and lets his hands go… good chance…if he stands off no chance… got to move his head more too
Put some respect on AJ's name and resume!! AJ, will either knock him out or make him quit
You wanna hear simon jordsn on his podcast he aint shy to cain fury n warren on there!! same as adam catterall id say he is most honest pundit when he is on his fight disciples podcast with nick peet say it how it
So AJ could get ptsd, but in the next breath Simon said Fury beats Usyk in a rematch?
Aj would've battered hrgovic and big phatrmas
Via low blows and head butts lol
I favour AJ to win this but Dubious has a great jab, bit like Pulev jab use to be maybe not as refined but its a real weapon and key if Dubious to win the fight.
Fury will also get ptsd from Usyk
Idk about that, he didn't against Wilder after Wilder virtually KO'd him in the first fight. I guess it depends how the early rounds go for him.
Wilder didn’t destroy fury like Uysk did
@@dwaynedibley997 He put him flat on his back for at least 12 seconds.
i think aj beats dubois..joshua is a smart boxer and a bigger unit than dubois who will take risks.if aj empties dubois tank at a decent pace he will stop dubois late..
I agree with Simon. Joshua will fold if he gets clipped.
Simon Jordan says anything for clicks
Dubois is a strong man however I think he catches too many punches and against AJ you can’t do that man
People need to shut up about the Ruiz fight.
Behind the ear even* awful spot to get hit fcks your equilibrium, and hasn't had chin issues since. People just ❤ 2 hate
Exactly, I keep telling this to everyone. 1 TKO loss does not a glass chin make.
This ain’t AJ’s first shit rodeo.
Anyone else just find Jordons voice… just…. Irritating… 😬🤐
They will always bad mouth joshua, they say about joshua and who hes faced, dubois only 3 fights ago got hit with a jab and quit, he beat a miller whos beaten no-one and he beat a hgorvic who narrowly beat zhang many believed he lost, he then faced mckean and looked terrible and found one punch and he then beat a de mori 😂😂
AJ spat out his gum shield and refused to walk foward to the ref in the ruiz 1st fight knowing do so the ref would stop the fight
Time to put the crack pipe down mate
Daniel's defence is terrible I think AJ will find the way
🧠💪🤝
Helenius definitely landed on AJ
No doubt but aj left helenius on the canvas
@@bdfgdfghdfhgfitdfyutdtydry ohh gosh a boxer got hit in a boxing match??? No waay
Im rooting for Dubois!
easy work for aj imo
He quit
I think the point you're missing is Joshua. Can take a punch on the chin. It's the punch on the side of the temple.Which is the one we are speaking about? And that to me was a freak punch anyway So in other words , what's simon jordan is speaking about is
Ridiculous , something that would probably never happen to joshua again anyway But apart from that I always enjoy your breakdown of fight and different people in the sport. And I totally agree with you about Simon Jordan who is an arse licker. As well 😂
If you go by the last 12 months. Dubois has a better resume than aj, facts.
Agreed, but not overall.
