Fooster, if you enjoyed this animation style, you should ABSOLUTELY play Bramble: The Mountain King. It's a similar 2.5D animation, but the design is absolutely stunning. It's a deliciously dark fairy tale game driven by Scandinavian folklore. Beautiful scenes, spooky and grim story, and fantastic soundtrack and narrator voicing. Definitely give it a try sometime.
As someone who tends to avoid the comment section for spoilers/unnecessary time and is fairly new to the channel, as in the past year and a half, I was not aware that you had not experienced Little Nightmares! This is absolutely one of my favorite series to play and was my first 'toe dip' into horror games for myself as it were! The 2.5D perspective, along with the size scaling, really puts you in the moment with the story! I'm watching this as we speak, and I cannot WAIT to see how you feel at the end of this video!
I think that even though he likes horror adventures and has no problem with cheap (generally predictable) jumpscares, the type of continuous pressure and overwhelming that Alien Isolation exerts on the player is too much for him. This can be clearly seen in the first video. Fooster not only loses his ability to concentrate, he loses coordination as well. If he is unable to enjoy the game there is no point in playing it.

I love how this really, accurately depicts child's fears. Everything irrational, it is never clear what happens to you, as most bad things happen when you are caught (like in nightmares, really). You have no identity, mosters are just monsters, with no clear identity or motives to chase you (beside eating you, which is the only possible reason some entity might chase you, in the eyes of a child). Everything happens because it does, with a vague sense of uneasiness, but also with an overall detachment that tells you everything is fine, after all, because it's a dream. Everything's simple as a child's basic fear is very simple and their knowledge of the world so limited. A very, very clever psychological job that appeals to sides of our mind that we even forgot existed.

I love that you do games out of it's "new era"! When these games come out everyone plays them and yes I love them but it gets repetitive. That was terrifying but so much fun to watch, i was on the edge of my seat through out every chase sequence and when you ate the little goblin my heart just sank, i felt pretty much dead inside after that.

That is a FASCINATING detail and I love the fact the devs put that in. So subtle. But I’ve never noticed it before, and never heard anyone mention it before.
