Four planes in the same shot at 6:00, pretty cool buddy. Great shot of the go around. Here we go, the big girl at 8:00, how many 380's usually land per day? Another great variety of aircraft landing at a close up view. I'm glad to see the subs getting higher and higher man, you'll be hitting million in no time. Keep up the great video's and thanks for the time you spend putting one of these video's together.

I live in Vancouver and even us vancouverites make the mistake of saying that the airport is in Vancouver
I used to live in Kits, moved to Austria in 2016. Your right, it might be YVR but it’s Richmond!
I think that is pretty common all over the world. Look at Paris airport CDG! Greater Vancouver area.

Another good one. The A350 looks fantastic. The landing of the last Air Canada plane was so smooth the passengers don't know they've landed yet. Hardly any touchdown smoke.

how come the AC 767s don't have winglets and the air north 737-500s have the winglets and the westjet 737-600s don't a RJ-9 from Chicago yuck
The 67's are older models and AC doesn't want to put winglets because they will be retired by the end of 2019. Some westjet 736's have winglets not all but some

That would be amazing, but Iron Maiden has gotten rid of their 757 & 747 sadly
As I remember it, the freakiest thing about flying into Vancouver from the East was flying over the North Shore mountains out over the Strait of Georgia and doing a hard left descending bank and if you were sitting on the left side of the aircraft, all you would see was the water coming at you. And when we flew in from Comox, you could tell where Vancouver was because of the brown smudge on the horizon.

its 11pm yes, YVR's runways never close there maybe no aircrafts using them but they are always open :D

oof i didnt know westjet had a 767 all i knew was they had a 787-9 and 737-700 737-800
Yep the 767s are fairly old in the westjet fleet

Its for ground crew reasons. If you mean that. (Its for saftey so they dont get chopped

Why not 4k @ 30fps? I seen others with the rx10 use 4k plane spotting. Looks great.
i don't use 4k because I can film a high frame rate with 1080p for smother video and it uses less memory
@@eyetrapper Higher frame rate but lower quality image. I understand if your main concern is storage.

AC will not repaint the 67s sadly because they will be retired by the end of 2019. thanks
Airwipe they will get passed down to AC Rouge and get painted with the Rouge livery.
