@Sm0k3 I'm not saying it wasn't lyrical or dope af. Mickey is the biggest winner in all of this. Im happy af for him starting to get looks from a lot of peeps who didn't know about him & now checking him out. If you look at the clip from him & Day's battle from yrs ago. You gotta a lot of new posts from peeps who didn't kno Mickey like that. He was XXL freshman in what 2006? He was ghost writing for Remy ma & others in the late 2000's,. And was next to Joe, when Raekwon dotted Joes eye. Lol. I feel what your saying though & taking everything into context, plus how many might be hearing Mickey for the 1st time, this was perfect. Meant no disrespect to factz or your point. I kinda misinterpreted your post, as in like rating it up there with some of biggest lyrical masterpieces, especially in storytelling, of all time. All good bro. Just checking boxes. Lol.
And most of his disses werent even aimed at push bro. If you think push didnt have bars you didnt listen. The whole scheme with 40/“m’s count different when baby divides the pie” is a dounle entendre of birdman dividing the money in his favor at cash money & drakes baby taking a cut in his finances/“you are hiding a child let that boy come home, deadbeat muhfucka playing border patrol” is a hard ass line, you can falsely label it gossip if you want but he exposed him. Its not gossip when it was all facts for one, & he tore down drakes entire character, drake had good wordplay with his jabs, but NOTHING significant at push, the hardest disses were at kanye. Even on two birds one stone, drakes hardest disses were at cudi not push
In the second verse where he did RJ style, he also did Ransom’s style. That was ransom’s style when he said that line about you want me marvel at your multi-verses, you could die mentioning that
Agreed but you have to be very familiar with the context to understand how hard he went. That’s the thing with Lupe. He doesn’t like to explain himself. It’s a feature and a bug.
Mickey came from the blog era as well (late 00’s-‘14, 15 ish) and he was on arguably the greatest XXL Freshman cover people forget that Mickey still a PROBLEM. Fire ass breakdown fellas 🔥
Yo exactly! I was just gonna say this too man. I watched that IG Live. Royce was sonnin Mickey…he told him to take it personally. Told him that the sunchips bar he had for Lupe would forever be especially for Mickey. And over and over said make sure you check all the boxes..then Joe came on and they were both sonnin him. Mickey did what an MC should do..he went back over that track he was putting together and bodied that man. It’s all love…but Royce took an L
Exactly, Royce was never a battle rapper. He even said, he went to hip hop shop once & got gonged. That's why he mainly worked out at Ebony showcase. That was never his lane. He can talk mad ish on a record & showed that in Malcolm x & in Bar exams, joists wit preem & Slaughterhouse, he spit hard at mc's in general. Not at anyone in particular. I know he said he was down 2 battle on who can make a better track as an mc & not str8 disses. But, as salty as he's been talking on lives & to an extent talking down to a lot of cats. Wasn't a good look 2 begin with. Established, certified mcs (not speaking on battle rappers) they don't go off talking that salty about how they are on a different level & you can't talk to me type ish. That came off as insecurity to me, especially since he's not & never been a battle rapper. OG, top teir lyrists who been around as long as Royce don't talk to other mcs like that. They say it on the track & let their work speak for itself especially when they given you flowers. Mickey was being hella respectful to Royce. Through all the ramblings that Royce been doing, i think i get the point he's tryin to make. For industry rappers that aren't from the battle rap scene.(especially coming up in the 90s.) Diss tracks aren't just made & then shake hands after & move on. Mickey can do that, he came up in that arena. Royce knows that can left quick. Hell him & proof pulled on each other on the streets. And if they didn't get arrested, who knows where that could of went. They squashed the iah sitting in opposite cells. But, this isn't that or on some Big & Pac ish, level. With Lupe there's enough personal issues besides the diss track for him to respond. He definitely should do that. But, with Mickey, it's not personal except the diss track that Mickey had no choice with how disrespectful he was being to him, while Mickey had shown nothing but love to him. Royce can't have it both ways. 1 minute on some positive, unity tip, & flip that switch and getting salty af, talking bout punching cats, bringing death to your doorstep... then get surprised when someone calls you out. This went from being hyped af for fans & artists who been following this, to being way too much drama that's not on a track. Either put something out or just stop talking bout the whole situation cause it's not a good look & have you looking hypocritical af nickel. Spit
I never thought i'd live to see royce getting smoked by sm who ive never heard of New fan of mickey And a new fan of this channel, yall be really dissectin them bars. Respect
That super technical shit gets tired after a while if you're not putting it into a story... or in this case, a diss. He didn't have enough bars for Lupe & ZERO for Mickey Factz
You know these battle guys keep a full clip at all times. the industry guys dont have to do that. Royce can rap but he is way out of his depth here. He really should just gracefully bow out and stay off IG live.
Royce isn't some scrub at battling either though, I wouldn't call either of these dudes industry rappers. If anything, Lupe has probably had the most commercial success.
Royce ain't battled in awhile. He did kill "Who got Bodied" (Mistah Fab diss), "Shit on you" (D12 diss) and "Malcom X" ( D12 Diss) but he wasn't as technical then. He had a few more, but I'd say those are his best three. Lupe and Mickey got him though. We will see what happens, but Mickey went above and beyond.
If Malcolm X Royce responded to lupe we'd be having a different conversation. But that mickey facts diss different because it's not just a diss but simultaneously a response to a challenge of his skill and he checked those boxes vehemently.
Mickey Factz said in a live with Royce after this song that he secluded himself for like 48hrs or something writing this. This is a reaction to Royce and Joe Budden talking down to him in a live they were all in, along with the fact that Royce confirmed a line in Death of Lambda was towards Mickey
@@Sinistatnt he did and was acting indirectly condescending towards mickey and to add ontop of that with the "checking boxes" shit, also, him & budden were acting they better than Mickey and the sunchips is foul yo, even though Royce a legend. Plus Ryan Reynolds Deadpool is in the marvel universe that whole entire this whole diss tracks it's one of the best I've ever heard in my life.... This is like nasty NAS ETHER legendary leve DISSl
That line about The Book of Ryan is also just a reflection on how Royce was just hating on Lupe who jumped on the IG chat and rapped! Basically appreciate dope shit without being disparaging to conserve the perception of yourself i.e. that mystique you were talking about!
Cliffhanger was a Sylvester Stallone movie that took place in the mountains too. So many schemes, double, triples, flow switches, cadence, styles. Mickey bodying royce, I'll give royce the benefit of hearing a rebuttal but I ain't liking his chances.
RJ Payne and Ransom (who Mickey flowed like right after RJ Payne) prob been the 2 illest musically/lyrically 2020-now along with Elzhi, Cambatta, Royce, Eminem, 38 Spesh, Rome Streetz, KA, & Che Noir.
Love Royce as one of the GOAT lyricists (Mickey🔥also), but objectively from a straight lyricism perspective WRAiTH by Factz arguably the illest diss ever on wax. Mickey Mause project classic HipHop concept album. Achievement dope also. Kills features and freestyles also. Only thing I disagree with is “Lupe got you outta here with a freestyle”’ bc Lupe’s diss was light AF lyrically. Otherwise Mickey’s diss was legendary lyricism!
Not at all. Slr was straight disrespectful bars. All royce gave was a half ass jabs. Lupe definetly got him outta here. Notice we still ain't got a response 😂
The point was that it was an actual freestyle. Lupe clearly wasn't even trying and still bodied him. He was showing that Royce's style is overdone and indirect.
@@williamwalsh3983 one of Mickey’s prob imo is he drops too much content so there is def some avg filler mixed in but his best stuff like Mickey Mause (brilliant concept album) Achievement Deluxe version Both dope places to start! Also has many great freestyles on TH-cam and dope features (most recently on Ransom’s Heavy is the Head album)
@@seanyoung9014 he didn’t come close to bodying Royce, stop it. He had a few dope writtens in the the 2nd half and it was direct, but not sure why ppl can’t have wished Lupe brought his A game lyrically instead of his C+ game!

@@warnaoh but his point is that Royce has way more dirt that everybody knows than Mickey, so what Royce can say that'll get people crazy? Since Mickey is undergroud people wouldn't pay attention or understand any dirt exposed by Royce, if Royce knows something to expose...
But on top of that, this beef here is more leaned to really hiphop fans and not the public in general, so I agree with you that fame here doesn't meaning nothing.
imo Royce wasn't expected this, this diss was wayyy too much for him. I honestly doubt that he's going to respond anytime soon
@@jasonbs3 there wasn't as much known about MGK either compared to Eminem, and Eminem still responded to him. Twice. Royce ain't creative enough apparently
@@jasonbs3 Yep. He didn't think Mick could go super nova on him. Completely unexpected. It's deserved because Royce kept downplaying his skills.

I remember KRS said back in the day he had like 10 verses for every rapper out if he ever had to use them.
Mickey being a battle rap legend he prob has the same
He said he had a verse for everyone on the billboard top 10
He even imitated royce's flow in one of the verses.
Which verse? I only got the RJ verse and Ransom verse
@@MFDOOMSMASK that whole ryan montgomery surprising you suddenly why am i not the loyalty im given publicly etc portion was in Royce's style
@@jerryrigger8061 he even did Cassidy at the part where he points out how Royce will take current event bars and it's not really clever. Mickey wildin on this shit 😂😂
Great breakdown my guys. I know your some busy men, but this was some oldskool dissection. And something I definitely need as a guy born and raised in the netherlands. I praise my self for the bars that I catch, but cause english isn’t my first language there is still a lot going over my head
Royce Talked his mess, then couldn't handle the retaliation.🤦♂️
Lupe Cooked Royce and Royce still hasn't responded .
Then Mickey Burned him too🔥🔥🔥
@Supra Caelestis Agreed. I like Lambda more than SLR. But there’s no debate with Wraith.
@Supra Caelestis You really missed the point if you think Lupe's track was wack lol
@Supra Caelestis nah, on that, Royce was the martial artist doing all the flips and tricks and flashy shit and then lupe was the master that slapped him down with a quick, simple, single movement
@Supra Caelestis lupe killed Royce that random rambling song Royce put out was ass
Damn y’all jumped in the Juelz bag for the sample reference. You boys got hella good ears!
For me, you guys always give the best breakdowns! Salute from London! ✊🏿👊🏿
What, I now noticed that the version in spotify has the: "Stop stop running and you know what I'm talking about too" cut completely away. Now I'm actually interested what it means.
This is what I’ve been waiting for. Salute to you both, keep up the great work ! 🙏🏼
This was a lyrical masterpiece
Not really. Yeah for a diss track it was. But, Mickey got other ish that's more lyrical. That last album he dropped was fire
Lol.
@Sm0k3 lol. I'm so used to doing it in the last few wks from seeing so many people acting like he's a new artist. My bad
@Sm0k3 Factz
The song checked all the boxes and this breakdown also checked all the boxes!!!
If Ryan is interested in Rj’s style he should listen to Ransom’s track with him on his latest album.
Also There will be blood off of Leatherface 3, shits 🔥
Payne is criminally overlooked. One of the best pens in hip hop
Yo, the original sample is super dope, it's from Idriss Muhammad, "Could heaven ever be like this"
💯
Also used in Lupe’s “Failure” track ☝🏾
Even the sample of the song is a punchline to Royce's label 😭😭😭
@@MatheDeath Heaven 😅
Can you guys react to Dave’s new album? Well we know you’re busy so not the whole album but at least either In The Fire, Heart Attack or Verdansk
Ha Goodluck they don't do much anymore even after they get this platform done don't be surprised if they are still not doing reactions that much
Id love them too but they kinda gave up hip hop reactions
He checked all the boxes ✅️
Should react to the 3 other bombs Lupe dropped on Royce head. Royce looking crazy out here.
I wrote where is Lost in Vegas wen u need em in the comment section and the guys pulled tru.. Thanks for this
A YEAR LATER AND ROYCE STILL AINT REPLIED 😂 😂 😂 royce is in my top five that's why this hurts
Mickey factz has been a part of battle rap for a while now I'm glad to see him getting his flowers 💥🔥🔥
Yup he stole em off Royce casket. 😆🤣😂
In the second verse where he did RJ style, he also did Ransom’s style. That was ransom’s style when he said that line about you want me marvel at your multi-verses, you could die mentioning that
Classic TH-cam moment .I enjoyed listening to the review of that amazing battle song.
Been waiting for your reaction on this whole situation 😎.
Am a fan of 5'9 and Lupe as well but Lu killed it man without technical..so big upps
Bro they have noooo clue !!!
He had a different diss record prepared, but after that ig live he went in the studio for 48hrs and created Wraith.
@@yhhkj529 Yep. It felt like two big brother’s clowning little bro. Mickey ended that foolishness LOL
Ya ain’t catch the ghost n goblins sega bar lol that was crazy.
Yes!!!!
This is amazing! And so much love for Lupe!!
I'm so damn glad yall got to this I was waiting for it!
Spit
Best Assessment on thr situation i've seen online 🔥🔥🔥😤😤💯💯❗❗
And yet Royce was a judge at total slaughter, which is crazy because that’s not his bag
I never thought i'd live to see royce getting smoked by sm who ive never heard of
New fan of mickey
And a new fan of this channel, yall be really dissectin them bars.
He really should just gracefully bow out and stay off IG live.
mickey was on a freshmen cover he's really only done a few battles but the rest of what you said is accurate lol
Royce isn't some scrub at battling either though, I wouldn't call either of these dudes industry rappers. If anything, Lupe has probably had the most commercial success.
Glad u reacted to this, salute all the way from East Africa
Dave we’re all alone in this together
Who is dave

Why do you keep calling me Dave?
@@AcrylicHD lol how’s it trash?
@@alwayzoctoberSitting on Lupe's diss was a critical error. He underestimated Mickey way too much. Wraith is beyond phenomenal.
I’ve listened to this a million times and know the lyrics, it’s dope seeing y’all reaction when I know certain punchlines coming up lol
Ransom and rj are killing the streets right now, yall gotta check in 👍🏾.
Ransom-heavy is the head album just dropped its crazy real talk.
Royce is like the basketball player who dribbles the basketball with no purpose
Mickey Factz said in a live with Royce after this song that he secluded himself for like 48hrs or something writing this. This is a reaction to Royce and Joe Budden talking down to him in a live they were all in, along with the fact that Royce confirmed a line in Death of Lambda was towards Mickey
Royce didn't '"confirm" it...Mickey asked if the line was about him. Royce practically responded with hey if the shoe fits
@@Sinistatnt he did and was acting indirectly condescending towards mickey and to add ontop of that with the "checking boxes" shit, also, him & budden were acting they better than Mickey and the sunchips is foul yo, even though Royce a legend. In my opinion he asked 4 this Energy & these are the ramifications!!
Also, I think the Marvel/Multiverse line references the last episode of Loki with He Who Remains and Sylvie and their whole confrontation.
RJ payne aka Reign Man is dope as hell. Good mixtape too
When they mentioned the checking boxes thing before the scheme of it I was like “just wait” 😂

Love Royce, but mannnn this track is insain. One of the best disses i’ve heard!
Cliffhanger was a Sylvester Stallone movie that took place in the mountains too. So many schemes, double, triples, flow switches, cadence, styles. Mickey bodying royce, I'll give royce the benefit of hearing a rebuttal but I ain't liking his chances.
Mickey Factz is the original AI rapper
That Ong Bak line was dope 22:43 . Really good movie

I actually felt kind of bad for Royce 😂 That was savage!!
Damn man, why this track gotta be so nice? Now I gotta check Micky's music.
@@williamwalsh3983 one of Mickey’s prob imo is he drops too much content so there is def some avg filler mixed in but his best stuff like

Now after all of this in retrospect, Royce did response by whining hours on podcast and whatnot talking to people (Mickey included) and didn't make a goddamn sense. It really made me look Royce differently 😅 Being silent would have been more than fine but the temper tantrums were.. ugh what are doing/saying. The couple dissections Lupe made afterwards was completely on point and then he dropped the whole topic while Royce was still puffing and huffing.
