PS4 Pro offered a very tangible benefit in flat gaming and notable improvements in VR. I suspect we will see an even greater difference this generation with PSSR. The headset is not the limiting factor, it’s been the original ps5 hardware thus far.
With PSSR AI upscaling PSVR2 can hit 90 frames per second and eliminate rear projection completely. Devs would have to patch games already released and choose to develop games using the AI upscaling. I wish we were hearing from these developers that they are excited about it and plan on using it but so far nothing. I will wait to see what happens in the months after its release and see if the best VR headset becomes even better with the pro. I sincerely hope so.
@@Evilkingus LOL sorry but I said BEST headset. I have them both and the PSVR2 is the clear winner with its foveated rendering and headset haptic feedback not to mention the OLED screens. Quest can try again with Quest 4.

@@JoshGRacing the pixels the psvr2 is similar to a quest 2. No matter how powerful the console is you’re gonna have a hard time see the instruments in a flight sim or racing game. I have psvr2 and a quest3. On my pc I have no issue seeing the instruments on DCS but with the psvr2 it’s blurry. U have to get close to see it. I don’t know if I’m using resolution correctly but that’s what I’m talking about. If I’m not using it correctly than sorry lol
@dannggg nope you’re good! It was more for me to understand as I’m trying to imagine how do you get then quality closer to 4K flat screen. Without a higher resolution from the device itself, we cannot get there? (Or even moving the needle in that direction)
After going VR2 with my wheel/pedal rig I cannot go back to flat screen. That said if this is a boost to VR2 for GT7 I'll buy it.
I sure hope so! I’ll have a follow up video over we see people post about their experience with it.

AMEN! I really hope resources are poured into PSVR 2 better for at least GT7
How will Quest 3 improve with the ps5 pro?

Hell no barely play GT7 but it’s ok the way it is….
Do you play other games?

@Mcfigg that makes sense, I’m hoping for some VR improvements as I’m a VR guy
I want higher resolution so it won’t work unless there’s a psvr3
Could the additional horsepower help with clarity or is that a resolution issue?

RT should of been in race from the get go ..so no it's not worth it
Agreed, but it seems like the regular ps5 can’t push it. I don’t believe just for RT is worth it. Are you a VR user?
