Hey Oora! Thank you for all of your coverage on the S-4. Like you, I absolutely love mine. I’ve had it for about two weeks now and I’ve been so inspired by your material. This is really changing how I see music and what you do makes me think and listen in new ways. I use music to help my mind, so in many ways this has helped me grow so much. Please keep it up and know that you are reaching people all around the globe!
So sad I couldn't participate in SooperBooth this year 😢 I wanted it so hard but circumstances are not allowed me unfortunately. Hopefully next year will be the year I finally got there 😊 Thank you for reports from this event!
Fiiinally the optx v2, the original one had issues so this one might be the one for me. This would free up a bunch of space on my Motu Ultralite interface
Hey, really love your music and content philosophy. Just wanted to let you know that the morph modular case is a blatant copy of the amalgamod case, a one man operation out of Melbourne that has been making the cases for a long while before morph came along and with none of the the budget. All of the features were copied exactly such as the folding mechanism and ability to fit on international carry on with the only points of difference being drawbacks like the bulky side mounted power. I’m sure you had no idea but it’s sad to see a small passionate developer blatantly stolen from without consequence.
Hey Angus, I believe there is a market for both brands, we are not talking about big B stealing ideas from small brands. Morph designed everything coming from automotive market, I'm sure they didn't copy. Folding cases are there since long time and obviously they look similar. Anyway, big respect to amalgam too!
Can I give some constructive feedback? Your opinion about the new devices at Super Booth is totally valid as the focus of this video, but for me, the viewer, I want to see and more important, hear the things you are talking about. I do understand that is much more difficult content to produce, but without that I, and I suspect many others, will watch content that has actual audio from the devices discussed. Full disclosure - when I realised there were no audio examples of the gear I stopped watching your vid.
I think this is right for many (synth dad did a good video with just a small amount of audio, and it helped). I’ve watched all your superbooth videos though because I trust your opinion. Please keep doing them, however you do them.
I also think Superbooth is mainly a meeting place where you can exchange ideas and meet like-minded people. It's not so easy to be able to try out modules properly, it's a matter of luck, they're usually occupied by others. Then to be able to give suitable audio samples is a lot of effort, requires helpers and above all a lot of time and will be a matter of luck not to go away empty-handed ... It took a lot of time for him to come to Berlin in the first place and I don't begrudge him being able to have made this trip, to have planned it. (I come from Germany myself and couldn't ...). I don't begrudge him the pleasure and understand that he is simply telling us about the trip, sharing his impressions and I'm happy about that. Turning this event into working days in the hope of playing a selected module for someone else is 1. hardly possible, 2. it would miss the point of the event, so he would "miss" it. I think it's perfectly okay for him to simply share his personal impressions with us, even though the trip was exhausting. We'll have plenty of opportunity to listen to the modules on various channels after the Superbooth.
I go to SB to connect with people, not to bring tons of equipment to do videos. These are quick talks just to share my thoughts , if you dont care about that, you did good: just stop watching. There are many other outlets that do what you asked , like sonic state, I dont want nor to compete with them nor lose time in trying to record audio in a situation like the super booth. I do music in my home, in a private environment. Thanks for stopping by anyway!
@@4ToMiCoR4Ng3 I don't begrudge him anything! I was simply offering constructive feedback. And practically speaking, audio examples don't need to be recorded live at the event itself. The magic of video editing means that it's possible to cut in content of the gear being played, possibly in the comfort of his own home studio at some later date. Again, not a universal truth, but just what I, a humble content consumer, would prefer to see. Content creators are typically interested interested in what content consumers think. Last point, which seems obvious but is perhaps still worth stating - there is an enormous space for comments which fall between "Wow, you're great!" at one extreme and pointless angry trolling at the other extreme. And for me, the most interesting and useful comments are in that space.
What is your favorite product of Superbooth 2024??
Thanks so much for mentioning us :) It was a pleasure to meet you!
I would love to demo the Chromaplane!

Have a look at the designs. It is a 1 for 1 copy.

AI is making best music now give up
but I do music for myself, not you or others. Its a process that I love and keep me happy, so AI doesn't worry me :D
