While the progress of the shadPS4 emulator has been extremely impressive, this video is basically a lot of cherry-picked scenes which don't 100% represent the emulator as it currently stands - by that I mean it doesn't show that this specific build still has display glitches, slowdowns, freezes and fairly frequent crashes, not to mention that quite a number of people can't even load this particular build of the emulator. The implementation of the Tessellation shaders in this development build is what has added the fire, fog, smoke, etc but that in itself is currently imperfect - for example, notice the lack of blood splashes on the hunter for example, also at Cainhurst most of the snow doesn't yet render correctly. As I've said, the emulator progress has been extremely impressive and the programmers have worked miracles, but nobody should think that it now runs Bloodborne perfectly because it really doesn't, there's still a lot of work to do. However, if development progress continues at the current high speed I do though expect Bloodborne to be pretty playable, but still with some issues, by Christmas (2024!).
