I agree 100%. They were good but got bested, and even with their map choice, with their toolboxes and BNP, and his only 2 perks, they couldn't just saw "GG WP" - even if they didn't mean it, honestly just suck it up. If they are that stuck up that you have to get salty from a match like that they have problems lol.
From their perspective being chased and downed with such brutal efficiency would look like Tunneling. Zero slack or time to even call out "he's one me" before you've already swapped targets would create the illusion you're only on the current survivor facing your wraith because of the small down time in between chases with each other. It's a good compliment on your ability to juggle survivors and close chases.
I don't like tunnelling and try my hardest to hook everyone one by one or at least all death hook before someone dies. I was playing on Coldwind Farm against 3 streamers, so I decided to watch their perspectives after the match. I made sure not to hook one person two times in a row, but didn't quite get everyone hooked individually one by one. "Bitch tunnelled me" were the words one of them spoke after the match. It made me realise that salty players are gonna salt no matter how hard you try and play fair.
Imagine sweating so hard you could fill a swimming pool in 10 Minutes, losing, then calling somebody who didnt tunnel AT ALL a tunneler... must have a sad life

Got Blight when he first came out, but avoided playing him for a while since I just couldn't get the hang of his playstyle. He felt so frustrating when his hitbox was still crappy and I would rather play Nurse (my main) instead. However I found your channel around 3 weeks ago and got addicted to your videos. You are so entertaining to watch and have a great personality and charisma. It always feels very refreshing in a game that is otherwise filled with toxicity and salt. Thanks to you I actually put the time and effort into learning Blight. And so far I'm doing pretty good. I’ve learned a lot from your videos and have gotten a lot better at blight because of them. I played blight back when he was gremlin pov but took a break because I couldn’t get his power down. Got back into him a few weeks ago and done pretty well. Thank you again!
I once got called a tunneller (and other very nasty insults) after getting all 4 on death hook, intentionally killing no one, and letting everyone out. Definitely killed the nice guy killer in me that day.

I've kinda reached the point of playing killer where I'll do what I want to win. If hooking a recently hooked survivor is a way I can give myself an advantage, I don't really mind. Especially on high MMR sometimes this stuff is necessary and a lot of survivors act like you're the enemy for using a game mechanic while they abuse others
I totally agree! Ultimately I think you should play the game however you want to, as long as you're not going out of your way to bully others. I think the thing that blew my mind about this one is that I have no idea how it would be convievably possible to tunnel when the entire team is identical!

If you want an excuse to run Pentimento on blight, I've found it combined with Plaything and Devour can make for some nutty situations, not only plaything incentivizes them to do all the totems, but if they slack then they're stuck with a 1/4 chance that they end up cleansing the devour totem, assuming there's 4 stacks of plaything up.
That's the dumbest but funniest thing ever. Like they all run the exact same character with the exact same cosmetics, where none of them is the obsession, and you're supposed to know whos who? LOL. Map offering with toolboxes and BNP. Just the typical swf who cries cuz they met their match and didn't get to bully you around. Also only 2 perks haha. Honestly as a killer main for 6 years now don’t cater to what survivors want. As a killer and the one hunting them the match is run by you. How you kill them doesn’t matter as long as you do kill them. Besides I don’t see survivors caring about gen rushing or winning a match in minutes. I don’t apply rules to myself as to how people want me to play
Me, my partner and a random were all Jill and wore the EXACT same cosmetic with the same item. I ended up getting "tunneled" out of the game and I was fully understanding as to why. I wasn't mad nor was I salty about it. That whole thing of that person coming into your chat just made me 🙄
Man I really need to get blight one day, I hope that I can pull of some flicks on console. On a separate note salt has not been as fun to me, at a certain point the excuse of "all killers are toxic because they all camp and tunnel" started to become stale. And you know, don cry for the stupid you will be weeping all day. Hell on an old comment where I was talking about me empathizing with a survivior cause 3 dc I got a "nah you waz surly toxic, I only DC when the killer tryhard" a.k.a. when the killer is good I bolt out with an excuse. I wondered if I should have taken the bait but then I was like "naaah it's just gonna be the old random barrage of things, not fun".
There is a difference between the killer being good and the killer tryharding tho. If you're gonna sweat against a team that isnt gonna sweat themselves, you are by definition a tryhard. If a killer speeds up their killing after a DC rather than just continuing the game like normal, thats simply tryharding as it is taking a huuuuge advantage that survivors cant do anything about. A good killer wouldnt need to tryhard from the start, a good killer would test out the waters a little bit and adjust their playstyle to what is needed. Yeah, good killers need to sometimes be tryhards too, but if you come home from a long day of work and you face 3 sweaty blights running the most optimal builds, doing the most optimal plays possible with said build the entire game long, I simply wouldnt consider you to be a good player, because clearly you're too insecure to slow down in a public match, where people most likely have at least 1 random teammate that has little to no communication with the rest of the team, and thus creates a weak link that can easily be exploited that would already lead to an easy win. That being said, there are also quite a lot of survivors who would call 4 endgame perks to be tryhard by definition, even though those endgame perks only really work if survivors have allowed the killer to make it work. Or people calling just the usage certain perks or addons sweaty even if those addons are not really considered to be broken(other than Alchemist Ring or Tombstone Piece, which are pretty much guaranteed to be nerfed before the next anniversary). So depending on context, I cant really agree with either side.
@@Predated2 Hmm I actually disagree a lot. If someone wants to run the most optimal things it's up to them. I agree that the meta is usually fun sucking and does not allows for skill expression, in fact I avoid meta builds because most of the time those do not synergies well with my playstyle, but as for the slowing down in public matches you find me very opposite to your idea (without counting the fact that DbD does not have a ranked mode, it's a party games that many people pretend to pass as competitive). I enter a game with the intention of giving my best to provide a challange and to be provided one, if someone wants chill games it's not my problem, chill games bore me to death, that's what MMR SHOULD be for (even if you know, it does not work very well as of now). In most games ranked only gives you a magical number and little to no rewards, and in that ambient it's usually abusing broken stuff that is usually rewarded, which is something I'm adamant against. If I'm not having fun playing it, I'm not picking it, no matter if it gives you a 99.99% winning chance. When someone DCs it's not my problem either, however if someone DC at the first down I will see if the surviviors want to farm because other people do not deserve to get no BP, they are automatically in a losing situation at the start of the match, I don't need handicaps to win and I don't enjoy stomping, balanced games are the most fun ones. I take my wins with no problems, just as I do with my losses. The fun is in the challenge, not in the outcome, ofc winning feels better than losing but the victory has to have a meaning. During the day I have to do uni stuff, so when I play I want to do it my way, not the rulebook way (which is lol get bullied scrub). Some people make up an honor code and pretend that the others follow it. Lastly the comment I was talking about was me talking about a game where I gave hatch (something I never do), because there were 3 rapid fire DC mid game and I didn't want that player to be punished. They came to me, wanting to be hooked but I refused. I let them do some gens and then lead them to the hatch. Everyone was nice and pleasant in the comments but then mister pro appeared and said "nah you prlly was toxic and did a combination of tunneling, campin an area cmping, I only dc against tryhards". They way he phrased it basically implied to me that he views as toxic anyone who does not 12 hook, that stays near hooks when surviviors are around or that camps to generate pressure when the gens pop (something that BHVR likes and encourages), so when things don't go in his way (every time he is not against babies that he can bully) he just bolts. Don't get me wrong I myself says that I'm a sweatlord, but I always respect my opponents and I'm a very empathic person, winning by any means necessary is not something that resonate well with me. I like to make builds that have a theme or that are lore accurate because I like to enter in the mindset of the killer I'm playing because it's fun, but when people cry for any reason I just have zero damns to give. Not to mention that in this game people are not nice. Grim pantry 0 hooks so I just said whatever, Chris Tbagging like it wasn't the map and me learing Pinhead in a 4 man SWF that earned him the win. Next game Midwitch, I'm pretty normal, this Claudette fails the flashlight save, clicks me and tbags. End of the game I slug one, she drops, I attack her mid drop, she gets hit and drops a pallet while I was distant and tbags. Runs to the next pallet, drops it I chain her and she goes down so I nod in return and she DCs. Did I mention that she had a purple flashlight, with purple and iri add-ons and a black ward? Yet she was so focused on trying to messing with me that when she failed she preferred to lose the item altoghether and losing all BPs. I start every game neutral toward anyone, and in this community the usual response is to try and tilt me, which is funny because I'm tilt proof and I have a pretty thick skin.

The thing I don't get is if the server can register that you got fucked out of a grab and it can RESPOND by giving you a hit, why not respond with another grab that's forced on both ends? Or at least make the hit insta down or something. I'm no game dev so I'm not sure how hard that would be to do, but come on

If they added hit validation for dead hard why wouldn't they add grab verification? It's a problem since launch back in 2016 but they haven't done anything to change it, guess it's killer sided addition, so they're not adding it.

I do get a little frustrated with not getting the bounce when I am wanting to.. and instead sliding off of objects. Survivors will complain about tunneling no matter what. Even when I purposely avoid tunneling, I’ll still get complaints. You just need to ignore them lol. They’re crazy.
I don’t really mind the tunneling unless you try and down me again the second I get off the hook and ignore other survivors who are also injured. It’s so annoying.

If you want an excuse to run Pentimento on blight, I've found it combined with Plaything and Devour can make for some nutty situations, not only plaything incentivizes them to do all the totems, but if they slack then they're stuck with a 1/4 chance that they end up cleansing the devour totem, assuming there's 4 stacks of plaything up.

Honestly as a killer main for 6 years now don’t cater to what survivors want. As a killer and the one hunting them the match is run by you. How you kill them doesn’t matter as long as you do kill them. Besides I don’t see survivors caring about gen rushing or winning a match in minutes. I don’t apply rules to myself as to how people want me to play

Me, my partner and a random were all Jill and wore the EXACT same cosmetic with the same item. I ended up getting "tunneled" out of the game and I was fully understanding as to why. I wasn't mad nor was I salty about it. That whole thing of that person coming into your chat just made me 🙄
Man I really need to get blight one day, I hope that I can pull of some flicks on console. On a separate note salt has not been as fun to me, at a certain point the excuse of "all killers are toxic because they all camp and tunnel" started to become stale. And you know, don cry for the stupid you will be weeping all day. Hell on an old comment where I was talking about me empathizing with a survivior cause 3 dc I got a "nah you waz surly toxic, I only DC when the killer tryhard" a.k.a. when the killer is good I bolt out with an excuse. I wondered if I should have taken the bait but then I was like "naaah it's just gonna be the old random barrage of things, not fun".
There is a difference between the killer being good and the killer tryharding tho. If you're gonna sweat against a team that isnt gonna sweat themselves, you are by definition a tryhard. If a killer speeds up their killing after a DC rather than just continuing the game like normal, thats simply tryharding as it is taking a huuuuge advantage that survivors cant do anything about.
A good killer wouldnt need to tryhard from the start, a good killer would test out the waters a little bit and adjust their playstyle to what is needed.
Yeah, good killers need to sometimes be tryhards too, but if you come home from a long day of work and you face 3 sweaty blights running the most optimal builds, doing the most optimal plays possible with said build the entire game long, I simply wouldnt consider you to be a good player, because clearly you're too insecure to slow down in a public match, where people most likely have at least 1 random teammate that has little to no communication with the rest of the team, and thus creates a weak link that can easily be exploited that would already lead to an easy win.
That being said, there are also quite a lot of survivors who would call 4 endgame perks to be tryhard by definition, even though those endgame perks only really work if survivors have allowed the killer to make it work. Or people calling just the usage certain perks or addons sweaty even if those addons are not really considered to be broken(other than Alchemist Ring or Tombstone Piece, which are pretty much guaranteed to be nerfed before the next anniversary). So depending on context, I cant really agree with either side.
@@Predated2 Hmm I actually disagree a lot. If someone wants to run the most optimal things it's up to them. I agree that the meta is usually fun sucking and does not allows for skill expression, in fact I avoid meta builds because most of the time those do not synergies well with my playstyle, but as for the slowing down in public matches you find me very opposite to your idea (without counting the fact that DbD does not have a ranked mode, it's a party games that many people pretend to pass as competitive). I enter a game with the intention of giving my best to provide a challange and to be provided one, if someone wants chill games it's not my problem, chill games bore me to death, that's what MMR SHOULD be for (even if you know, it does not work very well as of now). In most games ranked only gives you a magical number and little to no rewards, and in that ambient it's usually abusing broken stuff that is usually rewarded, which is something I'm adamant against. If I'm not having fun playing it, I'm not picking it, no matter if it gives you a 99.99% winning chance. When someone DCs it's not my problem either, however if someone DC at the first down I will see if the surviviors want to farm because other people do not deserve to get no BP, they are automatically in a losing situation at the start of the match, I don't need handicaps to win and I don't enjoy stomping, balanced games are the most fun ones. I take my wins with no problems, just as I do with my losses. The fun is in the challenge, not in the outcome, ofc winning feels better than losing but the victory has to have a meaning. During the day I have to do uni stuff, so when I play I want to do it my way, not the rulebook way (which is lol get bullied scrub). Some people make up an honor code and pretend that the others follow it. Lastly the comment I was talking about was me talking about a game where I gave hatch (something I never do), because there were 3 rapid fire DC mid game and I didn't want that player to be punished. They came to me, wanting to be hooked but I refused. I let them do some gens and then lead them to the hatch. Everyone was nice and pleasant in the comments but then mister pro appeared and said "nah you prlly was toxic and did a combination of tunneling, campin an area cmping, I only dc against tryhards". They way he phrased it basically implied to me that he views as toxic anyone who does not 12 hook, that stays near hooks when surviviors are around or that camps to generate pressure when the gens pop (something that BHVR likes and encourages), so when things don't go in his way (every time he is not against babies that he can bully) he just bolts. Don't get me wrong I myself says that I'm a sweatlord, but I always respect my opponents and I'm a very empathic person, winning by any means necessary is not something that resonate well with me. I like to make builds that have a theme or that are lore accurate because I like to enter in the mindset of the killer I'm playing because it's fun, but when people cry for any reason I just have zero damns to give. Not to mention that in this game people are not nice. Grim pantry 0 hooks so I just said whatever, Chris Tbagging like it wasn't the map and me learing Pinhead in a 4 man SWF that earned him the win. Next game Midwitch, I'm pretty normal, this Claudette fails the flashlight save, clicks me and tbags. End of the game I slug one, she drops, I attack her mid drop, she gets hit and drops a pallet while I was distant and tbags. Runs to the next pallet, drops it I chain her and she goes down so I nod in return and she DCs. Did I mention that she had a purple flashlight, with purple and iri add-ons and a black ward? Yet she was so focused on trying to messing with me that when she failed she preferred to lose the item altoghether and losing all BPs. I start every game neutral toward anyone, and in this community the usual response is to try and tilt me, which is funny because I'm tilt proof and I have a pretty thick skin.

The thing I don't get is if the server can register that you got fucked out of a grab and it can RESPOND by giving you a hit, why not respond with another grab that's forced on both ends? Or at least make the hit insta down or something. I'm no game dev so I'm not sure how hard that would be to do, but come on

its because people cant take losing, survivors are so used to winning (especially when sweating that hard) that when they finally lose they have to make excuses. Im glad im banned from dbd and no longer have to play this shite

If they added hit validation for dead hard why wouldn't they add grab verification? It's a problem since launch back in 2016 but they haven't done anything to change it, guess it's killer sided addition, so they're not adding it.

Always thought about trying to really learn Blight but.. I have that nasty feeling if I do that.. They will do to Blight as they did to my Skybilly.. ( That, and I will be honest. I do get a little frustrated with not getting the bounce when I am wanting to.. and instead sliding off of objects. Of course I know that would be something I would learn the ins and outs of more if I did sit down and properly learn Blight.. But.. As mentioned.. Afraid that once I do.. As counterproductive as it sounds, I hope lilith never goes above like 100k subs or something because his interactions with what I would argue to be the majority of his community (over 50% of chat and comments) is what makes him instantly iconic. I follow easily over 100 dbd creators and lilith is tied with Otz for #1
