This is a life saver. I’m in 12th grade and in precalculus with a very fast-going teacher. We’re starting out Intro to Trig a week ago, I was out sick for that whole week and couldn’t contain any info on how to do it. My english is not good but ... to memorise 4°quandrant you simply add the top and the bottom from the opposite side (2°quadrant). Example: 2π/3 (2+3)=5 3π/4 (3+4)=7 5π/6 (5+6)=11 Hope it helped ☺

My teacher give us one week to memorize the unit circle for a quiz, I forgot to do so. Thank god the day we have the quiz, the teacher have to took her dog to the emergency vet so I have a day to study for it. Using the hand trick from the resource the teacher give, which is hopless so I do my own research and find this. Was a bit concern because this was old but dear god, took me not even 5 minutes to memorize it all. For Quadrant 4 you can just add the bottom with the top number in Quadrant 2. For 300 degrees it is 3 +( 2╥ ) from 120 degrees. For 315 it is 4+(3╥) from 135 degrees. For 330 degrees it is 6+(5╥) from 150 degrees.
For radians... in the last quadrant... Just as you subtracted 1 from the denominator and multiplied it by pi in the second quadrant, and added 1 to the denominator and multiplied it by pi in the third quadrant, in the final quadrant, you take the denominator x 2 - 1. Multiply by 2 and subtract by 1. 3 x 2 = 6 - 1 = 5 x pi = 5pi.
Great job, pattern recognition is everything in math. Couple this technique with the "Left Hand Trick" and students should never get a problem wrong. The mnemonic for the 4th quadrant radians is a good one; 5 days during the week I go to 7 - 11. I will never forget this. The only thing I would have added is that the X -Y is also the Cosine, and Sine. 😆
It is! I was getting tingles on the top of my head, not right away, but once she moved her cup (or whatever it was) over, and after that point, her voice would tingle me. Also in some unrelated lecture videos when the teachers write on the whiteboard, that triggers me.

Yeah, same here. I memorize the quadrants as Q1= 1, Q2= 1 under, Q3= 1 over, and Q4= 1 under half.
the equation to use for the q4 radian measures is 2 times the denominator minus 1 to get the numerator

Another good way to memorize the unit circle is to keep writing it out. It will be time consuming but by the tenth try you will have memorized it
