Which number needle should be used for embroidery?regular one or any special?
Dear Purvi,
Needle number depends upon the fabric you are stitching. Use organ needles on your machine. Choose no. 8 needle for lightweight fabrics similar to georgette or organdy; a 10 or 12 needle for medium-weight fabric; a 14 and 16 for heavy fabrics like jeans and 18 for very heavy fabrics.
