I left Texarkana texas and moved to Crossville it's wonderful like Texarkana was when i was growing up. I think people should move to a town that's like them not move to a place and try to change it. My home town was really changed after hurricane Katrina
50 years ago, a friend of mine from Chattanooga who attended Stephens College in Columbia, Mo, transfered to Tennessee Institute of Technology. I visited her and had a fine time. Met a friend of hers whose father was a nuclear physicist at Oak Ridge. Most paranoid person I ever met.

I live in North Idaho and here's what happens to those home prices and ultra-low property taxes when a bunch of Californians move in: They Skyrocket, exponentially!! Idaho has received more families fleeing Cali than any other state and it's hurting us. Not only have they brought their ridiculous driving behaviors with them, but they're left-wing political views, as well, and we are conservative. In addition, our roadways are extremely overcrowded. But the worst thing is that so many families, who have spent generations on a certain property, have been forced to sell! Because the property taxes have increased so much, they can no longer afford to keep their homes. It's a sad situation, my friends, so I wouldn't be trying to lure a bunch of Californians to sweet Tennessee, either. About 80% of my family lives in California and I'm not hating on the people at all. Just describing what we are experiencing with the heavy migration.
NEWS FLASH: Most of CA is RED! Only the coastal areas are blue! I’m a native Californian, and I’m a “Conservative”, born and raised in SF! People from other areas destroyed this state! Now, at 61, I have to leave! Retired LE (forced). I’m sick of people that don’t get it.
I’m currently living in south west Florida and want to move my myself and business here. Is there a need for a good housekeeper and pet walking/care?!?

That’s WHY people leave CA! We’re Conservative and we have no control over the state government! Voting is useless!
