Definitely going to agree with Kim on Avatar.
'Call Me Joe' by Poul Anderson is the one story most people forget to include on the list. And that's the one with the paraplegic marine controlling an artificial alien body from a pod.
Geez, when Kim was talking about how she was going to "his" last gig before "he" died, I thought she was talking about Weird Al and about had a heart attack.

Turn the Wither in to a abomination of pink.
Name it Pinky,Perky and Porky and leave him in the dino pen
Kim and Duncan mount the pink Wither and crash.
Duncan kills more slimes
Kim makes another weapon, Obsidian wither rifle
Duncan makes a short slime bow and has problems with making ammo for it
Kim shoots Duncan with the Obsidian rifle, not much dmg. compared to the last weapon.

I saw him on his tour a few months ago and I was so worried that something happened during the rest when she said that. Then again, I don't think she knows Wierd Al exists and made that song.
+YOGSCAST Duncan, I recommend Alumite for the arrowhead and Slimy leaves (from the slime trees) for fletching, with just a regular ol' wooden tool rod for the body. With a shortbow, you'll get some pretty good results. Alumite is light but does decent damage, and slime leaves bring excellent accuracy.
She was singing Eat It, as in Weird Al's parody of Beat It.... who toured the UK a while ago, I thought Kim meant she was meant to go see Weird Al!

I can't believe Duncan made a bow without checking the stats of the individual parts. The blue slime crystal is one of the worst materials to use for a bow, though he did use flame string.

heh, in high-school there was this group project thing where during it we chose the punishment for people in our groups who didn't do their part. I had someone in my group drag their butt up and down the hallway in front of the entire class, the class next door, and the one directly across from ours. It was glorious!
Kim, since you like Jerusalem and Tolkein, I thought I'd point out you can do more than half of his poetry to the tune of Jerusalem, including all the dwarf songs from the Hobbit, 'The Road Goes Ever on and On" and even some of the Elvish poetry. I'm guessing he grew up hearing that hymn an awful lot and it must have rubbed off unconsciously in the meter of his poetry.

At one time, there was talk about making "Jerusalem" the national anthem, which I think would have been lovely. It is a wonderful hymn

Look if you guys aren't gonna do Thaumcraft, which I highly advise because its super fun and has lots of incredibly useful stuff, then just change the name so I can stop getting my hopes up that you will actually play with Thaumcraft. My alternative title is "Two friends who have a degenerative skin condition that exhibits symptoms that are completely different than those it the mod the disease was originally based on." I think it's kinda catchy.

I actually personally find it really cool that Kim has a commemorative ticket for MJ's last performance. There were a lot of rumors about him, but whether or not they were true, the dude could put on a fantastic show, and I'm sad I never got to see him perform.

If thaumcraft or whatever it is is in this mod pack, there's an affect called Flux Flu that could be used for a cool thingie to add to the intensity of the flux plot.

Hey ducan, maybe when you changed the wither , maybe the mod made him have the effects at that current state, because Kim changed the wither she changed it before he exploded, before he could actually do anything, he was frozen, so maybe you could do it again , after he exploded, keep up the awesome job 👌

I so wish Duncan would use NEI to see what materials do best as weapons :p they have Metallurgy in the pack, they could make some wonderfully wicked weapons with the right mats. Just set up the miner in the nether and twilight forest between sessions, get some tartarite and sanguinite, materials for amordrine, etc.
Watch them go after the Ender Dragon again only to find that Sjin has killed it. XD

Oh by the way we're working on a way to fix the pink wither and are going to be adding new monsters and a few new flowers not to mention the new,fantastical,Botanical Alfhiem dimension!
It will come with a whole new range of mobs and tameable pets, I personally am also working on a separate mod called BOTANICAL BREAKDOWN! It will feature new blocks along with a range of brewing recipes along with an extra almanac for the creation of custom potions and enchantments.This WIP mod will also feature animal collars and tags,they will allow you to, essentially, apply enchantments to your pets.
We are also extending the capabilities of our mod to work with the extra utilities, artifacts and thaumcraft Mods to allow for better and easier game play in the long run.

I remember Avatar 2 was postponed due to the earthquake near Japan where they were filming underwater shots for the film.
and I wonder how many fans raged when Kim, who has all of botania at her fingertips, didn't use the terraforming tool for Pinky's cage.
