Brian Dennehy excellent actor. He did not get the recognition that he deserves. Very underrated actor. Love all Brian's movies. So sorry that Brian has passed away. He is surely missed on screen and as a person. R.I.P. BRIAN ... ❤❤😢😢
I agree with you HC... His range, good or bad characters, he always delivers, and then some. One of my favorite all-time actors. Thanks for the upload!
Brian dennhey was most certainly the most underrated actor that lived I dint understand how he could be so overlooked he should of been in theaters he was way better than some others that have been there even today
A truly righteous and wonderful movie uncovering corruption and the racist view of many in positions of power and 1:38:57 authority! May peace and justice reign for all minorities and for women! An excellent movie! 👏👏👏
I cannot blame you at all for 4*. For Dana D., I will risk a 5* for her finesse, strength, and calm determination. A playing composed of lightness, silence, softness, cheerfulness, and surprising firmness. A scarce and incredible talent, not enough seen. In fact, in this movie - thanks u, I did not know it from Brian - we have two great underrated actors: Dana Delany (The Right Temptation, 2000, w/Rebecca de Mornay, another underrated excellent actor) and Brian Dennehy. Many thanks!
She didn't have a romance with that cop. She DID say she'd do anything to get his help with the case. She just did it to get in his head. She let him know in the morning that she was the one who messed with his credit card.
I am from Russia. I never miss a Bryan Dennehy movie. When I first saw Brian Dennehy, I was sure he was nobody other than one Oleg Sergachov, my college mate in 80-s. The more I watched Dennehy movies, the more I got convinced he was my friend Oleg, Oleg and only Oleg! Ir was some kind of obsession, two men could not be so 100% alike. Nobody knew what happened to Oleg, so I decided he moved to America and made the actor career there... One objection only to my theory- Oleg was utterly unable to speak English. He must be 64 now.
I had just looked up a cardiologist I had as a child here is USA his last name was Katkov and just realized he was Russian.. believe he's passed now as I am 62 but a half century ago he performed my 1st heart ablation ❤ great movie. 2 nd time here and I subscribed 🎥💯‼️Thank you Holy C🥰
Good call HC ! Thanks for this one. Yeah it's a made for tv b flick so i think we don't expect too much still it was good. I agree on everything you said about Brian Dennehy but i wish he made some more appearances. Keith Carradine did much better than i had anticipated. I haven't seen many movies with him. He was good in Southern Comfort with Powers Boothe i believe.
Agreed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Dana Delaney show how flexible and adept she can be. Love how Sally evolves and transforms as she pursues justice. With that said, there were some clouds in the unspoken inferences. That is one of the reasons I give it a solid 4 rather than a higher rating. I do love Brian Dennehy. He didn’t start acting until he was 39. (Fun fact)
I agree with much of what you pointed out and opined about this movie and the he key actors. A very taut, emotional, edgy script and the policing and justice problems our Nation continues to face just about everywhere, unfortunately. So much corruption within these systems. Sharp and dependable acting by Dana Delaney and Keith Carradine; and Brian Dennehy was a complete, believable character in this movie, though he didn’t have much screen time. His position in Internal Affairs truly set the tone for this movie. RIP BRIAN. D. 👍🥰
One of the best actor whatover. He should have won an Oscar for to Catch a killer. Super actor, deeply missed from whom understand the good Cinema. The movie is anyway excellent and all the cast of characters superb . Thank you for thlis gem ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you posting this 1999 movie. I love your enthusiasm. However, I was not thrilled with the movie and would give it three stars. Wish Brian D. had more screen time.
Perhaps Brian Dennehy is the most underrated actor in Hollywood is because he lied about being a Vietnam veteran! He can be a poser in movies but not in real life! Shame on him!
I can't see how Brian Dennehy is underrated. He had a highly respected, diverse and very successful career on stage and screen. He won two Tony Awards, an Olivier Award and a Golden Globe, and received six Primetime Emmy Award nominations. He was never out of work and made a lot of money. Just because an actor isn't a permanent A-lister, a multiple Oscar winner and an instantly recognisable household name all over the world does not mean he's underrated.
I''ve always been a fan of Brian Denehy, I will watch anything with Brian Denehy in it. Same with Dana Delany, I first saw her in China Beach. I found out she's been kept busy with movies for a number of years now. I will need to do a search on her movies and have a bing weekend at some stage. This movie was controversial back in 1999 but not so much today with mixed marriages becoming more the norm. It's the kids from mixed marriages are the ones left in the soggy middle with people still attempting to be fashionably accepting while in publish but going nuts behind closed doors. Just as mixed marriages today are finding it tough to blend in. The closest I ever became was in 1971, white woman engaged to a South African man but with a twist that got a rise out of people everytime. My man was called up after a deferred conscription call-up, that was delayed due to being his Trade Apprenticeship. Even then his study was at an accelerated pace, so by the time he had to report for duty, he had his Trade Qualification so he had the choice of a home Base or going off to war, being older and wiser at 23. He'd finished boot camp training and was posted by the time we got married. The real gotcha was after telling family and friends he was born in South Africa and as the smirks were making their way to the surface, they found out that he was born to Scottish parents, shortly after arriving in Johannesburg, I use to like winding people up who hadn't met him. Considering I was a natural blonde I guess it was easy for people to start judging me on how I could marry a Sth African. So it's easy for me to reflect on the difficulties of mix marriages as far back as the early 70s. It became relevant when applying for the usual official side of married life necessities by myself, if people heard where he was born. Frankly though there are so many mixed marriages even today doesn't mean couples still aren't faced with Racial issue, when there should be no issues in the second decade of the 21st century. As a society, we have far too many issues than we should have regarding mixed marriages and the consequences that kids can still face in schools today.
Brian Dennehy was born right near me BRIDGEPORT CT I loved all his movie's. I remember once he said; his real passion was Broadway acting. Sometimes after his death, i felt badly for him. Because I never seen his father around at all. Rest in GODS PEACE
Dont care for Delaney's personality, but she def has some of the most enviable legs i have ever seen. She did a pretty good portrayal of this role. Dennehey is a very good actor but usually type cast for tough guys. Really enjoyed the story/plot. 👍
Well.. ln First Blood he comes out of his police station, puts his hat on, walks down a little staircase, only to take it off in order to enter his car. Totally ridiculous.😁
Brian dennehys character is a bent cop also , what about there duty to protect the public , it's the public that pays their wages . good movie though .
1:24:00. All the time I was hoping to see the hidden wire. There is so much to say about this movie. Exagerations don't honor the truth, but when hard things - difficult to believe - reach our ear, we tend to call them that, either because of the exagerations before or after similar accounts. I've seen many movies with B. D. and I think that he was actually a good actor, but more than that, his acting value lies in the transcendance of the topics he choose to interpret. Painful as it is, how can we understand certain issues, if nobody dares to get into them? Still, we all need to understand that only those who have been personaly affected will be grateful for the insight. I'd like to add that we normaly have too many feelings (Vincent's family, here), and offenders have none or too few. The awakening of feelings, here, on behalf of the victim add a genuine touch if life to the movie. The view on the inside and outside will always be very, very different. To feel is a must to get to the truth. Thanks.
Brian Dennehy excellent actor. He did not get the recognition that he deserves. Very underrated actor. Love all Brian's movies. So sorry that Brian has passed away. He is surely missed on screen and as a person. R.I.P. BRIAN ... ❤❤😢😢
I agree.wholeheartedly. Thank you
He absolutely was the most underrated actor who ever lived.

I agree with you 100%. Brian Dennehy is solid gold, & very much underrated. ❤❤❤
I can't help but see him as sheriff Will Teasle from First Blood 😊
I agree with you HC... His range, good or bad characters, he always delivers, and then some. One of my favorite all-time actors. Thanks for the upload!
Brian Dennehy never disappoints. I will watch anything with Brian in it! Wonderful actor and a natural onscreen❤

Me too 👍
Love Brian Denehy movies. I thought that I had seen all of them but I didn't remember this one . Very good
Me too
A gentle giant and a great actor. Loved all his movies.
Fun fact: Brian Dennehy had a second home about 12 miles from where I live in Eastern Connecticut. A great actor who never disappoints.
I see Brian Dennehy and I'm watching. Enough said. The rest of the cast are just a rich, delicious icing on a great cake!
Only underrated by those that don’t recognise great acting he can play evil loving dastardly his range was enormous. ❤
Yes, Brian Denehy was definitely underrated. He was really good!
Brian dennhey was most certainly the most underrated actor that lived I dint understand how he could be so overlooked he should of been in theaters he was way better than some others that have been there even today
At first I thought 💭 it was the movie with Elle McPherson!
Brian is truly an amazing actor. I remember him as the Sheriff from Rambo. 🤗
Holy Critic! Delivered with such passion. I just have to bail out of another viewing and upvote you!
I'm a big Brian Dennehy fanboi.
Great actor may his soul rest in eternal peace🙏💖
One of my favourite Actors.🥰
i love dana delany
4/5. Really good movie. The guy who acted as the second cop is worth a mention.
Thank you Brian Dennehy is one of my favourite actors❤️🙂
Really enjoyed this, thanks for the upload!
A truly righteous and wonderful movie uncovering corruption and the racist view of many in positions of power and 1:38:57 authority! May peace and justice reign for all minorities and for women!
An excellent movie!
👏👏👏
Brian Dennehy was the best RIP 🙏
Brian was the best 👍👏👏👏👏👍
DANA DELANY should have been given TOP BILLING for this, her movie.
I cannot blame you at all for 4*. For Dana D., I will risk a 5* for her finesse, strength, and calm determination. I tend to agree with you about Brian Dennehy.
And I've always liked Dana Delaney.
I liked her in, "The Patron Saint of Liars".
What's even better, is Dana in East of Eden!
Brian, one of the the best ever.
She didn't have a romance with that cop. She DID say she'd do anything to get his help with the case. She just did it to get in his head. She let him know in the morning that she was the one who messed with his credit card.
Ah Dana Delaney is very good in this film! I enjoyed her acting in American Gigolo! She is the lead in this film! Thank you for this!

I'm from Azerbaijan and as a kid saw Dennehy in First Blood in 1990.
@@jimmysmom7449 he was really great as the bar-tender in an Acapulco hotel in the "10" movie... советую посмотреть этот фильм, если ещё не видел!
Greetings from NC, USA

That is one of the reasons I give it a solid 4 rather than a higher rating. I do love Brian Dennehy. He didn’t start acting until he was 39. (Fun fact)
I love the main actress, she did a great job ❤❤!!!

One can perfect a role especially when one plays it over, and over again.. That's mainly what Brian did in most of the roles I seen him in...
Thank you posting this 1999 movie. I love your enthusiasm. However, I was not thrilled with the movie and would give it three stars. Wish Brian D. had more screen time.

Enjoyed that, thanks!
Brian Dennehy is good in whichever film he is in. Thank you.
Dana Delaney, what a doll!!!
Man, thank you for unearthing this superrare TV film. It's lovely work that was in so many ways underestimated back in the day whan it was released.
I'm a fan of Dennehy, and recently have been watching Dana Delaney on Tulsa King.

Yup Dennehey was superb. F Fawcett another very underrated superb actress.
Deffenetly one of the better ones. Starter acting at age of 39 and almost 200 credits. Impressive carrer
I dont go past any of his movies I must be on 100 sees of each movie. Great to see one i haven't seen. Thanks.
❤ I completely agree 👍 I recommend a movie where he plays the bully in a small southern town. It chilled me to the bones how good he was.
Re my last comment: He was one of the two USAs actors' actor, the other being Burt Lancaster.
brian Dennehy was defently a good actor , I always admired him
