What I really like about this version is that the birth parents of the FL behave like birth parents who have finally found their long lost daughter. They are excited, ecstatic and experience some measure of guilt about missing out. The other contra-storyline where the birth daughter returns and they treat her like rubbish is totally nonsensical even for a fairytale. Zhu Yiwei is terrific as always. It's a treat to see him paired with someone else which is rare. Always love hearing his voice
The best thing about this drama is that they didn't have the ML looking like a ghost. I swear 9 outta 10 dramas he's in they have him whiter than snow with lips like he likes his steaks so rare they still moo. I'm like Edward is that you!!😂😂😂

Good! I’ve seen this plot one other time and was really frustrated at the ending. But now it looks like that other show didn’t skimp. This IS the actual ending. (this one is a little shorter than the other, but same idea). However, this one leaves us feeling finished, not irritated. Good change, director! Enjoyed the leads together. I didn’t feel a romantic bond, but instead a supportive and increasingly trusting one. You could see exactly where she got her “push away” responses-the grandma was the same. I love that! Nice collaboration between FL and FL’s grandmother. Both leads look terrific in white!
Love the identities of the FL. The ML as always awesome. The parents are quite good. ❤❤❤ The brothers so not a show off. Hahahaha... The assistances both unique. The bad people.... Not bad. 😊😊😂😂
I remember watching this months ago. I felt bad for the evil girl. She had a right to be upset and paranoid. It didn't help that her evil mother was there encourging her to evil when she wanted to just live peacefully.
I like this version, The FL was cold and distant and the ML was very sweet and supportive of her, and that lead to no chemistry together. I wish the flashbacks in the storyline would have explained how she became such boss/master, surgeon, medical healer, Chief designer, and a musical genius in her past!😅🤣
That was freaking great....I wanted more! I want to know what kind of badass she is and see her one up all the different brothers. ML is always a fave, FL wasn't bad, but I do love ML's wifey better. It was a fun fast paced short, which was nice cause some of the same storyline ones tend to drag on a bit. I will say I loved the matchy outfits at the end, her black with flowers and his flower at the neck (especially after she mentions that roaes were sentimental)

Loving all the versions I've seen. I have a favorite one but it got removed from youtube and I never figured out the names of the FL and ML let alone the real name of the drama. I want to say the ML is Liu Yue Tao so I need to look up all this drama to see if I'm correct. I'm gonna add this to my The Princess and the Pauper playlist! My favorite one was the closest to The Princess and the Pauper (arabella) novel and this version while I'm still watching seems the closest to the novel as well!

If the rich family didnt ignore and neglect the adoptive daughter the minute FL (the real daughter) came back, she wouldn't be so easily convinced by maid. She's so starved for affection by that point, of course she'd help anyone who shows her kindness. That being said, even till the end she didn't do anything too bad except try to flirt with ML.
I love a FL with multiple vest.. But this one was a bit cold for me.. She didn't have much expressions and her identities were not properly written and addressed.. Only at the end she smiled and looked natural.. Wish we saw some more interactions with her brothers too.. It was good.. but it lacked power.. There wasn't any good impact from learning who she was.. Sigh.. I do love a powerful FL but this one sadly wasn't that great.. They certainly tried.. ML was great and I loved that once he set his mind on her he never wavered.. Her parents were great also.. It had a lot of elements in the story that didn't get to shine properly.. 😕

The Maids blasé “even if they no longer acknowledge you” attitude after all that time and effort she put into that scheme?! No way. Don’t believe it.
