  • The Labour leader said there would be no 'quick fix' to the deep problems the party will inherit if it wins the next election, as he set out Labour's six election pledges at a launch event in Essex.

    1. Spend, spend, spend via PFI like initiatives.
    2. That money ultimately goes into housing, creating a 1997-2007 like bubble.
    3. The bubble bursts, leaving the debts from current PFI, Brown's PFI, QE, and covid.
    4. A new, but much worse version of Labour's 2008 Crash occurs.
    5. A new Great Depression follows, as we won't be able to afford another 14yrs of QE to clear up the mess,
    6. Mass unemployment on a 1930s like scale.

    What a crock! He cant deliver any of this without finding the money somewhere else. Legalise cannabis for gods sake, at least that would create jobs and billions in new tax. That is money going straight to criminals, that could fund the nhs and new teachers. Cut defense spending, its not needed, just dont supply Israel and Ukraine with all our weapons, just so you have to buy new ones.
