I didn't think this list would include OVA openings, but it did and really happy. Those openings are honestly fire, cause of how the series was made, the openings are played during the actual opening scene of each episode, so goes on for the full like 3 minutes. And the drawing style is top tier, cause it was for an ova series, where each episode was realease years apart, and animated to anime movie level quality (for that time)
Also, It's not a music anime. It's a distopian future anime, and really f-n good

05:08 Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water was the first TV production of Studio Gainax which later became famous for Evangelion. They had some incredibly talented animators on board and you can really tell by this opening and many of its 39 episodes. Unfortunately, about 10 episodes in the second third of the series were outsorced to Korea and became infamous for bad animation (the so-called "island episodes"). Nevertheless, give this series a try if you're looking for some good steampunk/sf adventure and memorable characters. You won't regret it.
1999 for me is Digimon Adventure OP, but One Piece OP1 is slightly more popular.
2012 for me is Fate/Zero OP2, but i know its nowhere near top of most popular.
2019 is just the best year in my opinion. Both openings and endings are fire. I have to mention The Promised Neverland, Vinland Saga and Domestic Girlfriend openings.
