American Reacts to The British Crusade Against Slavery

In this video I react to the British crusade against slavery. I thought I was fairly well educated on the topic of slavery compared to most Americans, but I learned so much more in this video. I had no idea how early and how powerfully the British moved forward to abolish slavery.
As early as 1102 England was already trying to stop slavery in their country. Then some centuries later Britain actually started using it's own Navy to find and free slaves. At the time no other country was actively trying to stop slavery. It cost both lives and wealth to do so.
We should all celebrate the fact that Britain took a stand over 2 centuries ago and led the way in ultimately stopping this horrible stain on humanity's past.
