Additionally, it’s pretty clear in the original translation since Vivian refers to herself with words indicating that she is a woman while other characters treat her as a man, which is treated as a statement of fact rather than just an insult, which really only makes sense if she is trans.

I am puzzled still by the lack of words in the game that specifically say "I used to be a man but now I am not." Just saying that Vivian wasn't their brother and is actually their sister was part of my interpretation about the bullying. The idea pitched in this video was that she was bullied/gaslit into believing she is a man until she had time to grow and learn, only to discover that she was a girl all along. While it isn't popular by any means, it still could hold up. I've always enjoyed over-analyzing things I read as to get different perspectives or to get the whole picture on something. I hated those classes in school but always enjoyed doing those things regardless.
The concept of creatures without a definitive form being "trans" is actually something that bothers me because how can a creature that can change its form at will grow uncomfortable with its physical traits? Any troubles regarding a form? Switch it off. It does not need surgery for such a thing unless the creature has a core form it must return to and wants to change the core form. If it lacks such a constraint, just change the form.

One thing not mentioned is how naive Vivian is in the game. Most likely a personality trait born of the bullying from Beldam but still. I think it could still be that she isn’t. I’m not saying she isn’t at all, but just that there’s a possibility that she isn’t. If that makes sense.

Considering she did not use a phrase saying something along the lines of "I was once their brother but now I am their sister" in the English translation of the game, it leaves room to give some entertainment to the idea presented in this video, where I said she could have been bullied into believing she was their brother but was just their youngest sister the entire time since birth. All she says is "it took me a while to realize I was not their brother, but rather their sister," which does not specifically spell out trans. I am not saying she isn't designed that way for the game, I am just saying it isn't the only possibility. Regardless, the game remains one of my all-time favorite games and will replay it for years to come. Thank you for your comment! :)

Reading it as is, it leaves room for filling in the gaps. Those gaps are small, but it's still gaps. I mentioned at the tail-end that the Italian dub straight up says that she turned into a woman from a man, but I am playing the English version. The translation is different from language to language. "I'm not their brother, I'm their sister" can be interpreted to more than just trans identity. "I was bullied into thinking I am their brother when I was always their sister" is how I fill in those gaps. For others, they fill in the gaps with text that isn't present, the same way I do, but with different text. "I once was their brother but now I am their sister" would directly point to her being trans. I have always been a fan of analyzing things I read then discussing.
