- The topic of Android 21 (Lab coat) has been widely discussed by just about every Dragon Ball FighterZ player. This character is crazy, to the point of being banned in some tournaments. A nerf is finally in the works as confirmed by bandai namco e-sports. Before that happens, I needed to see what all the fuss was about, so I hit up my homie, and professional dragon ball fighterz player - LegendaryyPred.

That first fight, that's literally how every vegeta fight in anime, gets first hits, damage the enemy with new power up, get turned on and totally obliterated, my man doesn't catch a break...

I'm gonna be honest despite the topic being about android 21 I was more interested in you fighting someone of a higher skill level since I assume it's more normal on your streams, seeing it on a Video was nice + It can truly show how far you've gotten as a player. Overall: Fun video, love the thumbnail the gameplay kept me hooked.

Its almost like they released a broken character so people would buy it and then nerf it later. Its something that you can see in so many games if you're looking.
Ye dlc got out of hands
This one might be intentional but i doubt it, I think they just can't tell how good a character is before they release it. Like how Z Broly was bad on release while Bardock was broken, Or how Majin Android 21 is one of the best characters in the game and she's not DLC&Same with Gotenks before the nerfs.
Its usually a good way to sell off DLC but in most instances they nerf them down to a level where they feel better to fight take U.I for example. They eventually toned him down but he's still pretty freakin good and crazy, but they also like to try tons of new things with all the new characters they can throw into this game and I think the Debuff idea was cool, but I think they got too wild with it and didn't realize that people would ABUSE the ever living crap out of a massive damage debuff like that. Lets hope they just nerf the Debuff to a state where it doesn't decide who gets to win a match and who doesn't because that's what its basically doing right now.
@@AhmedAhmed-ii4pe This is the most reasonable conclusion. It wouldn't make sense to say it's intentional because there have been many character DLCs that were bad on release. If making them broken was their marketing strategy all the DLC characters would have been nuts which isn't the case. It's more likely they just don't know how strong something is until the players get their hands on it for a while. It seems like an excuse just to spit at Arcsys tbh. They've updated this game much more than I thought they would. Many devs would have abandoned a game like this by now. Sometimes this community comes off as extremely ungrateful. I've been a part of communities bigger than Fighterz but the devs will neglect the game almost entirely. Problems in some games will linger for extremely long periods or never be fixed/nerfed. It's nice to see someone who's not so quick to throw shade at Arcsys because of a shaky DLC release.
@@shimmerc people complain about fighterz being unbalanced and arcsys not caring meanwhile Xenoverse 2 still has:Broken moves&Broken characters(especially Hit and Blue Goku)&Broken mechanics (Especially ki canceling)&Guard spamming&Free get out of jail card (limit burst)&Useless moves (Gogeta blue has spirit blaster and god punisher which were and still are some of the worst moves in the game and he is DLC!!!! AND AFTER YEARS THEY ONLY GAVE THEM MINOR BUFFS THAT DON'T CHANGE THE FACT THAT THEY'RE WORSE THAN A NORMAL KAMEHAMEHA)&Infinity+ amount of I-frames&The definition of horrible netcode&Sweaty tryhards with broken movesets who play like winning will get them into harvard&Lagswitchers shoving their router into the toilet to win. Dimps are the definition of not caring about your players and only caring about pumping out DLC number 9685664 to milk the game until its dead. Either that or they are blind and can't see all the problems the game has. Arcsys are the opposite of them.

The only match pred truly played like him self... was the last match.(seereax even said he got "hood perfected") other than that he was just trying to make it enjoyable, still big respect to seereax for going up against a legit pro

Always love to see you playing more FighterZ! These matches were super entertaining to watch. You've gotten good enough at this game to hold your own against actual professionals, and if that ain't motivational/inspirational, I don't know what is. I finally picked up and got into FighterZ from watching people like the 3 idiots and the Shenanigoons. You guys are always very entertaining, and you're also my favorite of the 3 idiots, Deion! Keep being awesome, and releasing more content that shows off your bower.

Imo the main issue with LC is that is feels like another Majin Buu in the way that she has too many options, she has:
- A Buff
- A debuff
- A beam
- A projectile
- A barrier
- A lariat (Which can cross up in some scenarios and has a very nice scaling)
- A rather easy rejump (Compared to the rest of the roster)
- 2 lvl1 super
- 2 lvl3 super
- And overall all her attacks have pretty good frame data
- Really good mix-up game
So she has an answer fer every kind of scenario which allows her to be wat more flexible than other characters and have very good synergy with a lot of team compositions :)
Does her grab not also heal her?
ah yes, and a grounded and midair command grab that heals her.
She got everything and the kitchen sink.
Also 21 is the only character with a move like that, gogeta blue's rising vortex move does the exact same thing except vertically

I thought it mainly the damage debuff that was making fights take too long, since in competition settings the matches need to be pretty quick or the whole thing gets bogged down.
But I don't tend to keep up with this kind of stuff, so I fully expect I'm only partially right or wrong entirely.
The damage Debuff is just one really big thing but the stomp for example has almost no scaling on it so you can just stomp loop and eat a quarter of their health. That's cheap, but that combined with the damage Debuff and her easy to string combo structure makes her way better at the top level than everyone else. She's pretty much the Rat from Season 2 mixed with UI Goku and Gogeta 4 in terms of how much bullshit she can pull for free. I'm confident that we don't need to Ban her though if that Debuff is nerfed or gone. There hasn't been a Fighting Game Ban for being too OP since Arcade Gill and OG Akuma I don't think, and those were at extreme levels of busted. The fact that they even considered it seriously competitively for 21 though, means a lot.
21's patch was supposed to be the last one, but 21 is so powerful at the Top Level that it's doing the exact opposite of what the Patch was supposed to do. The Patch was supposed to increase diversity but 21 as she is right now at top level is like having a full blown Quarter Stealer SNK Boss on your team. I'm pretty sure like most of her moves don't have any scaling too so you get hit you're fucking dead unless they drop it.

Yeah I'm really confused as to why the made the Debuff so strong. I don't even play this game that much but hearing they added a character with a Debuff that nerfs your damage made me scratch my head. Legit the only ways to counter it are to ToD her right away so she can't play or Use her yourself so you both are doing the same amount of damage. This is the one time I agree with banning a character because not using her puts you at a massive disadvantage and makes winning a lot harder. The buff should just eventually go away not stay around permanently that was a big oversight on the the Devs part
