Mars! Great riding. I want to hit that one next time I go back to Warner Valley. I rode some trails last time with my partner in the valley and they were super fun.
Very interesting place to ride Greg it is inspiring me to go riding. I ride in the desert in Northern Mexico but this place in Utah is so beautiful. As I have a bad post Covid cough your videos are like an escape valve, hopefully will feel much better next weekend so can go ride. Thanks
Back in the days when I used to rodeo I thought I went to the moon a few times, and I learned that it wasn’t the fall that was bad it was the sudden stop at the end that got you.
Mars. Good ride! Blount stuff and glad you got to hit that trail. We were just out at 5MOH last weekend in Utah and there is such cool rides out there.
Mars for sure Greg, kudos to you IMO a North American classic hard enduro trail. I was in the area last spring, I went to the base of COI and looked and walked the first section and looked doable for my riding level, of course I bite off more than I can chew at times, not knowing the more gnarly stuff was above the first cliff/ridge line, anyway wisdom beaconed and riding by myself and 65 yrs old I turned around and there was plenty of great semi-gnarly stuff I rode all along the base east and west which the first part of your vid showed. Need to go back, was on my modified Beta xtrainer then but anxious to see how the new SE 300 will perform and wisely ride with others to get me out of fixes that I am sure I will get myself into. This area and especially the single track in the AZ area of Warner Valley is one of my favorite riding areas the South West has to offer .
Love the riding in Utah. You’re right, it is like riding on Mars. Heard of this trail, but hadn’t seen any of it. You definitely need your A-game for that one!
.. great video. I was there in early April. Road 70 miles our last day including this trail.. and the "trials course". Check out the other side of the valley, lots of great technical riding in those coulees...
Apparently I live on Mars, lol. Looks like Garret and Trent didn't hold back showing you the goods. Good old SU, where all the good trails are on the side of a damn cliff. The SXS boys can't get to them that way. 😁 You did an awesome job with this video!!!
Mars … I am definitely coming riding with you if I ever get to the PNW. Only problem is I’m in UK and it’s a bit far ! That is awesome footage and well done 👍🏻
Very weird watching you ride trails I do regularly xD. The terrain in this area is grueling for most people, the loose stuff gets the arms pumping. You did awesome on the ascent. But I guess I know who does that crazy trench trail now at 13:30 :) I don't think I could solo ride that
Yeah that was a tough spot, wedging the bikes between the rocks on the "birth canal" was interesting. All the sand hill climbs at the bottom really drain your energy.
Mars it is, Both spectacular, and brutal at the same . Just incredible scenery, I appreciated that you would stop / look around , and comment on the beauty of this torturous ride!
I had a buddy that took the same line as the KTM at 4:50, almost had it but killed the bike, tried to bail but the footpeg of the bike caught him and sucked him and the bike off the 20 foot cliff on the right. He fell head first into the ground! It was scary.....but luckily he was ok and we all ended up riding the next day.
Mars is on my bucket list too. I want to make a trip down there like you did. I'm just across the border from you in Lynden so used to riding your home terrain. Did you find it challenging to ride that terrain the first time and to get used to it? It certainly is different than home.
Its almost like God made that groove in the arch to fit a dirt-biker's head through ... 🤣😂 and if you think I watched the vid to that point and not to the end, well 😛
a good last ride to do before you put new plastics on! It was cringe worthy squeezing that chrome exhaust through the rock gap. Good for you - looks challenging but you are rewarded with the scenery.
@@PNWEnduro Hey off the subject question - you were riding a YZ 250X at one point. I ordered one but don't see you riding it any longer. Not what you expected? I have had about every brand of 300 2T and went to a Sherco 300 4T which I love but getting the 2T itch again and love the Yamaha brand (have a Tenere 700).
(Mars) Insane. Love seeing all the locations and varying terrain in your videos. Seems like you schlep your bike all across the continent, so it got me wondering what kind of transportation/travel setup you have?
Mars and Jumping Jupiter. Nice riding, wish I was younger. Thanks for taking us along.
Fantastic 🤙, it really does look like another planet (like Mars).
Definitely on my bucket list.
Long time listener, first time caller. Great video, love the material. P.S. Mars
Mars
Glad you made it down there. Cool area
As always, you train and ride in some of the prettiest areas of this country. Thanks for making my day.
Thanks for watching!
Mars is gorgeous this time of year, what a trail!!

Hope you feel better and are back out on the trails soon, take care.

That Mars area looks like a good time 👍
Mars. Excellent ride!
Mars...bike sounds good man!!
PNW, great riding on mars. Looked like a challenging trail ride. Thanks for sharing.
Standing O Gif. Beauty work on those rocks bud. Mars
That looks super challenging, great footage!
Mars. Good ride! Blount stuff and glad you got to hit that trail. We were just out at 5MOH last weekend in Utah and there is such cool rides out there.
Utah is amazing, such diversity in the riding areas. 5MOH is a bucket list ride for sure.
Great content. Would love to get over there someday. We have some decent trails in our So Cal desert but nothing like that.
Thanks for sharing mate, kinda nice to ride mars.....albeit virtually

Yeah I wish I had more time (and energy) to ride more of this area. Will have to go back eventually.
Looks like I need to ride Mars next winter.

Thanks but. No they did not hold back, gave me the full punishment!

Thank you!
Mars, Moon shot, Plutos, take your pic, what a challange
Awesome! Mars
Cool video! Thanks for sharing. Looks like Mars!
"whoever he is, he's too late. See! The cliffs of insanity! Aha ha ha ha!"
"He didn't fall? Inconceivable!"
Mars. Well done. Love the SG area. I'll leave that for you young guys, that's way over my skill and fitness level.
It was pushing my limits at times. Three straight days of riding and long drives was catching up to me at this point.
Riding on Mars indeed! Awesome vid 🤘

Mars! Well done my friend!
Wow this sure is different from your usual PNW trails. It does look like Mars!
Would like to visit “ mars” like you did. Thanks for the content. Keeps me motivated to take the family out riding. Cheers

Dang! Yeah the potential for something going really wrong is there for sure. Glad they lived to tell about it!
@@PNWEnduro me too!
Really hope you get the chance to ride down here in Southern Africa someday. We have some wicked trails especially if you enjoy Hard Enduro
That would be really cool!
Mars. One tough trail for sure!
Id have to agree, it is like riding on Mars down there!
Tough sluggin , mars
MARS!! This place looks amazing! My type of fun .
It was pretty intense. A lot different than our riding here in the PNW.
It is like riding on Mars out there!
MARS LOOKED LIKE FUN.
Mars! Great riding. High reward, high consequence. Those drop offs freak me out.
There is some even more extreme exposure spots we did not get to in this area. Pretty crazy some of it.
Some times you feel like a nut, but today you rode Mars!!
Mars _ you have a healthy battery on the bike!
This trail looks sick 🤙
I gotta head to Mars
Definitely Mars!!
1000 years from now on a terraformed mars! excellent riding.
Mars and back 🤙

The hardest part for me was the deep sand, it really saps your energy and I never ride sand back home.
mars. Great ride!
I live in the trees, but this red sand and rocks makes me wanna grok...HARD ENDURO....ON MARS.
Good vid - if rides open up on Mars we’ve got a place to train 😜
I'll play your game,... Mars!
I would love to ride "mars"
I didn’t know you could get to mars on a dirt bike.
Big road trip! lol.
looks like I need to go to mars
Feel like a Mars bar after watching that video. I saw a drone a coupe times, was that what was on the on guys back? Any footage available?
Yes, drone in the pack. It's Garrett's, he has some footage on Instagram.
It's Mars baby
That sure isn't Canada, Mars then...
Mars!
MARS!!
Just like a mars bar!!
You can keep mars, I struggle enough with earth
man the towards the end it looked really challenging
Yeah the hardest parts were four hours into the ride as well. Though day.
where is it?
Allot different than PNW trails . Mars is Very cool area.
It’s a good thing you have electric start on that bike
How could anyone not watch all that? Mars attacks BRAAP BRAAP 😆
I think I would have to take some extra underwear for that trail
I was wishing I had extra water!
Mars ,Need to know, has anyone done this level of Hell without E-start.😁
No e-start would be miserable!
Mars.
Maaaaaars
That trail will remove all that new bike smell every time
Oh yeah, might get a custom powerdent pipe too!
Mars
mars
Utah is Marsalous!!!
Its almost like God made that groove in the arch to fit a dirt-biker's head through ... 🤣😂 and if you think I watched the vid to that point and not to the end, well 😛
Moab..is Mars!
that would suck without e start lol
It would be torture without e-start.
a good last ride to do before you put new plastics on! It was cringe worthy squeezing that chrome exhaust through the rock gap. Good for you - looks challenging but you are rewarded with the scenery.
I believe the locals call that rock gap "the birth canal"
@@PNWEnduro hahahaha, great name

I was only testing the YZ250X. To be honest, for the riding I do it was my least favorite bike out of everything I've tested.
@@PNWEnduro thanks for the feedback
His bike sounds like it works better in the lower revs than yours.

I just have a Toyota Tacoma pickup. Eventually want to get a moto van but they are pretty expensive.
