As a casual cigar smoker, I usually don't have more than a dozen or so cigars at home at one time, and find an air tight Tupperware container and a Boveda pack works great. I like the Havana Castle Red in torpedo format myself.
I have around 500 plus cigars which I keep about 50 in my humidor and the other 450 plus get stored in large zip lock bags with bovada bags. It's been working great for about 10 years now with no lost cigars from poor humidification.
@@coobay4786 That’s a smart plan if you are going to keep such a large collection at home. My logic on only keeping a dozen or less cigars on hand is twofold. One is, I would smoke more if more are sitting there available, and secondly I live 6 blocks from where I buy my cigars, so I would prefer to let them take care of the humidification, storing, selection of brands and the cost of a humidor, and I will just reap the benefits when I feel like buying a few
@HamiltonRb No retail for me, I'm getting my cigars for about 20% of the retail cost, that's why I have so many. And yes, I do smoke more cigars having that many on hand. As a matter of fact I'm smoking a Caldwell Instant Classic while writing this.
I’ve tried their red, black, purple, and Cuban so far and my favourite for a nice sit down Smoke is a black Gordo, if I’m cutting the lawn and working, Cuban all the way. it’s phenomenal
Great video. I'm thinking about getting into cigars. I just smoked a monticristo No 5 while in Mexico. That little beauty tasted great. I want to be honest, I don't know chit Bout cigars. Keep making these videos. I have learned so much 👍
Before you go get cubans at havana do some reddit research. Not going to say anything else about that. But good on you for trying to let ppl know cigar shops are strong and thriving in ontario. The hobby needs more guys like you spreading the word
