I wanted to add that I thought Gantry was a reactionary, an opportunist, highly suggestible…. AND a master of self-delusion and justification. Thanks again for posting your thoughts.

It’s been on my TBR for quite some time. I need to read it. I also need to get to It Can’t Happen Here, although it is depressing as well.
Thanks for watching. It’s a really funny novel but it’s bleak how contemporary it is.
