Good ole Days! I used to load in Edmonton, Ky and haul to XIT Dalhart, Tx every week. Loved it! Just realized that Cowboy Kent Rollins was raised around Hollis. Pretty Cool! Thx for the video and keep em coming!!
My initiation, age 19, team driving a load of purebred Angus from Deer Lodge, Mt to Fairfax, Texas. I went into the sleeper in Texas and when I came out we were still in Texas. My family were OBHs, Outlaw Bull Haulers.
Those two horses pushing the cattle into the trailer is as good as it gets. I've never seen a horse go up into the trailer after them. Great horses and riders!
The name "Hollis" has nothing to do with the persons name who owns the auction barn but the name of the city that they are located in, which would be Hollis, Oklahoma

@@calebmanuel17 those cattle weigh 500- maybe around 800 pounds. The feedlot will get them to at least 1200 pounds, then its time for the last truck they will ever ride
Super, very useful video I'm from Russia, we also have good cattle, but since this cowboy works with cattle, I haven't seen this professional yet. Tell me, how many heads do you load into a cattle truck, the weight of these calves is 250-300 kg.?
To make it kinda short, They are really not saying much. It's bidder vs auctioneer vs bidder. You must really pay attention to whats being said when cattle are brought in, "example" 10 are brought in but he says "times 2 or 10" so u could be bidding on 100 an only see 10. U could also be bidding by dollar or pound. Get there early look'em over in the lot, then get a seat where u can see who is bidding. When the call is made the auctioneer will start. He uses fill words to keep it going fast but it's only a numbers game, if it stalls then he'll say catch words like they are sold by so an so, or they've been vaccinated anything to start the bidding again. You still have to listen close because of internet bidders. There's a lot more to it but u get the idea,

What does it take to be a cow hauler is there any different than the other Freight hauling but this is a living breathing Freight
reminds me of loading for parker cattle in the mid 90's
I work out there and it is pretty fun all you got to remember is do right and don't get ran over lol
Nice work! 👍
I’ve never. Loaded with a horse like that, but beats the heck outta running alleyway on foot for sure.

Bob Saap 9jgkgglr
I got to say, I wish every sale barn had Cowboys to load, that's is a big help to have cattle run to drive get load get gone.
Are they transport to slaughter house or something else
@Amed Tajan lol ur kidding, l'm not vegan
not this trip...they look a little thin in the skin. Headed to a feedlot most likely.

Total bullshit.
No reason to run them into the trailer that hard. Give the driver time to switch the gates. Firm & steady is the old rule..
